What's New in LiftCortex

2.3.0

October 24, 2026

No more ads, a shorter setup, programs to follow, and a card for every PR. PROGRAMS TO FOLLOW Start with a template now has Programs: three free community programs you can follow week by week. Tiered Linear Progression, Six-Day Push Pull Legs and the Beginner Wave Program. Pick one and each of its workouts becomes its own routine, with sets, reps and a note on every lift. SHARE YOUR PR Set a personal record and the finish screen offers a card to share it: the lift, the weight, and how it beats your old best. On Progress, "Your 2026 in lifting" sums up the year so far: sessions, volume, PRs, your best weekly streak and your heaviest lift. Both cards are made on your phone, and nothing leaves it until you choose where to send it. A SHORTER SETUP A new install asks one question, what you're here for (lifting, food and macros, or a countdown), and shows only the screens that match. "Just start" skips setup in one tap, and picking your colors waits until you've logged your first workout or meal. WORK IT OUT FOR ME Macros › Set Targets › "Work it out for me" turns a few questions about you into calorie and macro targets, and you can come back to it any time. The fields start empty, "Prefer not to say" is always an answer, the result updates as you type, and nothing is saved until you tap Save my targets. ASSISTED LIFTS Log an assisted pull-up or dip as a negative weight, like −20 kg. A ± button above the keyboard flips the sign, and the Apple Watch set logger dials below zero too. Assisted sets never count toward your volume. APPLE WATCH • Ending a workout on the watch now saves every set, with warm-ups, drop sets and cardio distance intact. • The set logger opens on your last weight and steps by 2.5 kg or 5 lb. • Ticking an exercise on the watch marks all of its sets done on your phone too. SMALLER THINGS YOU'LL NOTICE • Weights typed with a decimal comma, like 62,5, now save correctly. • Food library servings show in your language. • Barcode products that only list values per 100 g no longer log them as one serving. • Erase All now spells out what each choice keeps and what it deletes, iCloud Drive backups included. • Food search ignores accents. • With Larger Text, the calorie number on Macros, Set Targets and your history stay readable. • Many translation fixes in every language, including the camera permission prompt. THE ADS ARE GONE No banner, no tracking prompt. In their place, a small bar asks whether you'd like to spot the dev; one tap hides it for a month. Spot the dev once and it's gone for good, with a thank-you: the PR bell that rings on every personal record, the Bell Brass finish, and Brass and Chalk app icons. Bought Remove Ads before?
