Love the intentionality, but wish for a bit more!

I really love the vibe of this app and how it encourages us to actually read bios instead of just swiping! However, the 3-profile limit feels very restrictive. It would be amazing if the daily count was increased or the wait time was shortened. I genuinely want to find a bestie here, but I wish the app felt more usable without needing a premium subscription.

Genuine Connections!

Making new friends, even in a city I’ve lived in my whole life, was harder than I expected. Lilac made it feel natural and exciting again. It’s such a welcoming, empowering space that’s helped me meet incredible women and form genuine connections. I love everything about the brand and the community it’s creating!

Unique and Creative Approach to Friendships

Lilac is a new way to make friendships online and I like that it feels different from other social media apps. In just the design and prompts alone I can tell that a lot of thought was put into creating it in a way that will foster and maintain quality friendships in a more meaningful way. The prompt options made me think/reflect on what I am truly looking for in my female friendships and I valued that it gave me the outlet to express that. I love the color design of the app itself, very beautiful and aesthetic as well. Can’t wait to keep building my community and attend in person social events through the app. Here’s to making more friends in the new year :)

Authentic and online!

Moving to a new city making friends can be difficult, but an app like this sets you up for success. The prompts for making your profile make you think, and show the type of person you are to people. I also love how the app notified me to swipe slowly while looking. In a digital age of swiping constantly, you can become less engaged on what matters. Su h a wonderful app!!

A new way to build community

While in my mid twenties, I was searching for more intentional friendships and a kinder, more reciprocal community. I was so excited when a friend introduced me to Lilac! Lilac feels like a breath of fresh air. It’s user-friendly, streamlined, and has a beautiful interface. It sets the tone for users who want to foster deeper connections. I’ve already gone on two coffee dates with new friends from Lilac and I foresee many more in the future! Further, there’s a feature where you can find social groups and join group outings.
