I’m learning, Slovenian, and ling is great. But every time I’m done with a lesson, it tries to get me to join a plan. other wise its really good!

i like this app a lot to learn Farsi, but unfortunately the speaking parts are faulty, it’s a 50/50 chance that it works.

Basic learning
I’ve read the reviews and I see a lot of people who are trying to become more fluent in their native language through this app, same with me, my main issue with this app is that choosing the level of understanding of the language you’ve chosen is completely useless! I chose the ‘fluent’ option, why are the first lessons I’m given is how to say hello? Or greetings? If I am fluent that is completely unnecessary and a waste of time, especially if the next stage of learning is hidden behind a pay wall, complete waste of time. I was very excited to see that Lithuanian was an option on a learning app, especially as I’m trying to learn more phrases as I’m about to visit family there soon, very disappointed. I think this app is a cash grab, rushed and using unpopular languages to gain customers.

Best language app
I tried to learn norwegian but duolingo stoped me because it doesnt have unlimeted learning time But ling has Unlimited learning time So i can do as much learning as i want

It’s a-okay
It’s not bad, I have been able to learn a bit of the language I’m trying to learn. However, I need to pay just to keep learning? I mean, sure, many other apps do this, but I personally think this is a bit ridiculous.
Almost great
It's great that you could pick and choose what to study (instead of the rigidity of all the other apps where you must pass every consecutive lesson they configure before you can advance).
What keeps Ling from being great is that for the Cantonese language, there's some Jyutping romanizations that are wrong and in all but one instance, if you click on the flag to submit feedback for the page that has the error, once you click to submit the feedback, you can no longer continue through the lesson.
You get sent back to the page you were on, but clicking on anything (like "Continue", even though it's highlighted meaning you're ready to move on to a new page to learn something new) will get you nowhere; instead you have to quit out of the app and go through the lesson from the beginning, not where you stopped to submit the feedback.

Good app
Nice alternative to Duolingo, I’m learning russian. I would appreciate a russian alphabet to properly practice the nouns and spelling grammar. Thank you

Finally an app that offers Slovenian language. I’ve been waiting for Duolingo to add Slovenian.. and then I found this app and I am super happy! It has helped me stay consistent with my learning and makes it fun too. A few issues with the scoring and some of the speaking parts.. but apart from that it’s been great!

Good app, provides flashcards and exams. But only the first course is free.
Great but
Great app for learning; my only real complaint is sometimes the app crashes or “buffers” for extended periods of time when doing the speaking lessons so I have to exit the app and restart it to do anything.

i love the app i can learn thai which isn’t in duolingo and its almost the same as duolingo and i like how u can save vocab which u cant really do on any other language app

my mums side is Lithuanian, and all my life my wish is too speak it better than I can, as I’m not fluent. I tried online lessons, my brother doesn’t speak it at all, so my mum couldn’t practice at home either. Nothing worked!! Bloody Duolingo didn’t have it so I was stuck :( but I found this app, and it HAS LITHUANIAN!! And probably other tons of other less common languages. Actually bless whoever made this app, you’re an angel❤️ I got it today and already know much more :)) 100% recommend xx
