Can’t complete adding a home location

Can not complete making a home location on the app, so it makes the whole app and their products useless.

App stopped working!

My mom is in memory care and I rely on this to control her TV when caregivers can’t be bothered to do it. I don’t want her sitting in silence in her apartment. The app shows connected but it’s not controlling the tv. So I’m sitting here at work worrying about her packing up her things to go home because she doesn’t have the tv to distract her!

Fix bug, add a new bug

I mean what the actual ..? Why do I need to connect to your servers (which are often down) when all I need is to check whether the device is working ok?? Fix your nonsense pls

App doesn’t work

I constantly have issues login into the app and today it’s impossible so all my lights need to be triggered using each app.

Servers Constantly Down

Despite good reviews the the products - it is impossible to use then with an account as they need to be registered - you can’t get through the registration process with setting home - which they have via GPS anyway! Unless this resolves in the next 24 hours - my new device is going back for a refund and this app is being ditched - plenty of other options for me to try out. Sod of it all is I do not want to use the app I want to use the device in Home Assistance - but I cannot join Otto my private network until I get passed this Stupid 1 star app!

Zero Appreciation To Customers Time

This app was extremely poorly designed. Instead of simply filling out your location information in a form, the designer requires you to jump from screen to screen. First screen to select Nation followed by an eternity watching a spinning curser, then jumping to a screen to select State followed by the spinning cursor, then a screen to select city followed by the hypnotizing spinning cursor then a “no internet error “. I tried every possible troubleshooting approach to no avail. I deleted and reloaded the app, cycled the phone, and used cellular data - same result. Can’t use their sensors without their trashy app. I’ve sent their garbage back to them. This bunch don’t seem to comprehend that Quality must be exercised end to end.

App keeps crashing

Every time I try and install, I get an ‘Internet not available etc.’ error when trying to install - and it looks like I am not alone with this problem. Why not just put a ‘skip’ At this point - why do you need to know the town where I am anyway? And you already use the iOS GPS. Waste of time and money.

Everything works!

The RF eRemote works everywhere, and I have 3 IR eRemotes, one for each room with AV equipment.

Bug with Home Assistant firmware.

When trying to add a custom remote for use with Home Assistant it gets stuck on “Adding”.

The custom remote is the most important one! Please fix!

The app is ok the firmware update took some distance from my emotion pro

The app is a little confusing, but overall it’s all right could be a little more intuitive but my big issue is with the e-motion pro firmware update. I’m not sure which firmware it was like. I think two updates ago, but my sensor would detect me 5 to 6 m away now it doesn’t. It maxes out between three and 4 m.

App crashes when…

…I click on any device

My Thoughts

It does work. Takes a little bit to work through. Possibly too many prompts for confirming the button learning and becomes a bit frustrating. Would be nice to be able to edit the button icons and titles when they aren’t exactly as per the remote being learned.

The motion sensor works but the app doesn’t allow you to set a custom notification

Needs to be able to set a custom notification sound at least for the app if not per routine other wise the notification is just like every other notification

App keeps crashing

Just bought a remote controller and not able to use it as the app crashes when selecting the county location on setup. Tried on multiple devices and multiple networks. Terrible app. Wish I had never purchased the product now.

Their customs service and help

What customer service?

Works Good

3 sensitivity adjustments

Brilliant

This product is amazing. Will be ordering more soon 1 for each room.

Motion sensor

Excellent reliable recommend

Trash

Misleading campaign. Basic functionality, worthless

So far not impressed

Got my eMotion Max today. Its detection is poor and the app is rubbish. Trying to set up zones is a nightmare haven’t managed it yet. No integration with Alexa, it appears but can’t manage by zone just acts like a pir. Rubbish not worth the wait or the Kickstarter investment.🙄
