Excellent Benchmark

This app provides an excellent benchmark. I would like to be able to save results and the date. Please provide an update with the option to remove ads.

It's a good hand warmer

Take your phone out of the case and set 99999 runs and watch the heat generate

Incorrect results and crashes

A problem size of 4096 reports 170 GFLOPS on an iPhone 5. 8192 causes a crash.

iPhone 5S Score

Over 1500 score with this update.

Nice- exactly what I was looking for

I'm consistently getting 112mflops average. Just wanted to see my CPU speed. I noticed I get higher mflops when using multiples of 8, like 256, 512, 768 etc. So I used all kinds of odd numbers and my A5 is pretty solid for being an A5.

I noticed the ads pause during test- this is the way a benchmark app should run.

FAQ

What does Linpack measure?

Linpack measures a system's floating-point computing power by solving dense linear equations. The result is reported in millions of floating-point operations per second (MFLOP/s).

How accurate is Linpack's solution?

Linpack includes a 'Norm Res' check to verify the computed solution's correctness. A Norm Res value around O(1) indicates a probably correct solution.

What is 'Precision' in Linpack?

Precision in Linpack refers to the relative machine precision, typically the smallest positive number such that fl(1.0 - eps) < 1.0, where fl is the computed value.

Is Linpack available on Android?

Based on the provided data, Linpack is available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod. Platform availability for Android is not specified.

How often is Linpack updated?

The latest version of Linpack is 1.5.1, last updated on September 15, 2017. Update frequency is not detailed beyond this.

What is the age rating for Linpack?
