Using AI for good

Lion Browser uses AI to detect explicit images on websites. When it detects something it flags that website and adds it to a weekly log that it sends to parents or partners. It’s the best app to teach teens how to be responsible online. Also I love that it has a whitelist because my younger kids can use it then. Only the websites I approve can be visited. Super helpful for homeschooling.

Great accountability tool

The browser is done very well. Easy to use. I really appreciate being able to set attraction type when setting alerts for the app, and I like the color theme controls. Only issue is that the scrolling feels just a little bit off at times.

Great Browser

Lion Browser is a solid browser because it has parental controls built in. I love that we can get daily history logs for my teen daughter to keep her accountable and responsible online.

No customer support

I like a lot about what this app does, but when I reached out to the developer about a year ago, with a question and concern, I got no response. Then three months ago, my weekly report stopped getting emailed to my partners. I didn’t realize it until a few weeks ago. So I reached out to the support email provided and have heard nothing back on that as well. So, the app is pretty good, but customer support is nonexistent.

Disappointed.

Was hoping for this app to block all images. I checked and confirmed it was on “disable all images and media” to show strictly text no images. So I test it- type in search “bikinis” and instantly all bikinis. It doesn’t work. Bummer.

Great stuff with some exceptions

Looking for a few more UI UX experiences. URL bar toward the bottom of the screen, backwards & forwards buttons, some more safari-esque features.

Would recommend!

For anyone looking for some additional safeguards in their life or their children’s lives, this is a great tool for that. I also appreciate that the creator of the app continues to update functionality and how well this app integrates into the iOS system now.

Great browser, great price

My only critique is that links that should redirect to automatically open in other apps often don’t work for me. Otherwise this is a great browser.

Great Browser and Accountability

This has been my go to browser for many years. With the newest version, I no longer feel like I am sacrificing the browsing experience for accountability. I highly recommend this browser for all that desire accountabilty and would also encourage parents to consider it as an option for their kids.

I’ve been using this browser for over a year, and it’s easily the best one I’ve used! It’s quick, easy to use, and gets regular updates. Highly recommended if you’re looking for accountability.

Great app for accountability

I’ve been using Lion browser for about a year now. I had previously used covenant eyes and ever accountable and Lion browser is just so much more simple, easier to navigate, and cheaper without having to deal with a VPN.

A great browser!

I’ve been using this browser for about a year now. The user interface is really nice and it works very smoothly. It did take a little bit to get used to, coming from the default Safari app, since some functions are located in different places to Safari but it doesn’t take long to get up to speed and I’ve not looked back since.

The ability to connect the app to a partner has been really useful and the AI functionality is really unique.

Great Application

I have been using this app for a little over a year now. I know there have been a number of updates to the application and I have been excited to see all of them. I also love that this browser limits access to certain things, which is excellent for people who have struggled. I also enjoy how quickly the developer responds to requests and questions. Overall, I think this is an excellent app, kudos to the developer.
