New for parents Teething reminders on iPhone. The app now works out when each set of teeth is likely to arrive from your child's birthday, and sends a reminder shortly before, then nudges every couple of weeks until you confirm you're seeing symptoms. Covers all twenty baby teeth, plus a few birthday notes about when teeth typically start falling out. Each reminder carries "I'm seeing symptoms" and "Not seeing symptoms yet" buttons that update the tooth chart without opening the app. Reminders live on the phone rather than being sent from a server, so they work offline, and there's a control in settings to turn them on or off. A matching in-app banner. The mouth page now surfaces the same "these teeth may be coming" prompt, with snooze and "seeing symptoms" actions. It follows exactly the same timing rules as the phone reminders, so the two never disagree. Delete my account. Parents can now permanently remove their account and every saved smile from inside the app. Worth knowing: Apple requires this for App Store approval, so it matters for your submission. Behind the scenes A privacy fix that matters. Previously the app trusted the browser to say which family was asking, which meant a determined person could have requested another family's children, photos and notes. Every piece of data now checks who's actually signed in, and confirms the record belongs to them, before returning or changing anything. Nothing suggests this was ever exploited, but it's the most important change in this batch. Admin-only controls. The shared dentist directory can now only be edited by someone with the Admin role, rather than by any signed-in member. There's also a new admin-only tool for testing reminders, with a picker for how soon it fires. Quality and upkeep. 27 automated tests now cover the reminder timing rules, so a mistake in the date maths gets caught rather than shipped. The Path toolkit is on the latest version.
