This app use to be peak in before 2023 with so many good deals. Now there’s barely any places to eat/drink on the app and the deals no more good offers. Download EatClub insteadz
Listed merchant do not accept 2026
Liven’s bad reputation from 2025 got worse in 2026. Listed stores like Krispy cream, med max stop accepting.
And the customer service is also terrible. When raising issue, instead of acknowledging, they responded back; use linven when you can. Lol.
Not going to bother as app crashes, poor user interface and terrible customer service.

I have 500+$ in credit but the shops i went to are not accepting. Please dont use Liven, save yourself from humiliation of being declined payment and worst, the shop on their list is already closed!!!! negative rating if there is such a thing!!!

Not intuitive / hard to work
I’m computer literate and this payment system is super complicated. Even the venue staff hate it!!
Not accepted
Spent $50 on it, tried using it on 4 seperate occasions and was told that it either wasn’t accepted or none of the staff knew how to process it.
Surcharge from the restaurant for using Liven
I’ve noticed that restaurants are charging surcharge for Liven which makes no advantage of using the app really
Borderline scam
I made an order and paid using liven but the merchant said they never received the order. Contacted the customer service and they took 3-5 days to reply. After asking for screenshots, merchants info etc and they were still not helpful in any means. This app feels like a scam to me
Apple Pay Cash Advance Fee
Just realised 4-5 dollar charge per every transaction using liven if I use my apple pay that connect to my credit card.
Be Careful! Some shops have stopped accepting LIVEN and you will lose all you bonus dollars…
EDIT: Got most of my Brandollars back as Liven Rewards so not as bad as I thought - changed rating.

Its happening too often to be a coincidence.
I contacted Customer Support and they said give them 2 weeks to sort it out. Came back 2 weeks later, machine was still not working and they said no one from LIVEN contacted them. I mentioned if thats the case I’ll have to report to Liven again and suddenly, their machine “miraculously started working”.
Dont bother buying BRANDOLLARS anymore. If a shop secretly stops accepting credit, you will lose all your Bonus Dollars because LIVEN cant do much it seems. They can only refund you the remaining amount minus the bonus dollar.
So essentially you got ZERO discount the whole time.
I feel completely scammed.

No signs of life with this app
Many of the restaurants featured on the app no longer accept Liven (and apparently haven’t for months), but the app still lets you pre-pay for credit to use at them - which I unfortunately did and haven’t been able to get a refund for. The customer service is nonexistent, I haven’t been able to get hold of a real person in the 3 weeks since I raised a complaint. If you look at the other reviews, their social media, and the fact that their Melbourne office is no longer occupied, it’s not looking good.

Does not work at Rolld
Waste of money as it does not work at Rolld who promote it for brand dollars. Staff don't know about it and Liven customer service is useless - don't answer questions, just keep repeating irrelevant scripted answers. Don't waste your money.

Liven used to be good but be aware! They are scam in a way. When I started with Liven, it is promised that the brand dollars will never expired and will be refunded if store close or no longer accept liven. After I bought almost $3k of brand dollars, a lot of stores now closed down or no longer accept Liven payment methods. And Liven is hiding from supporting. They will direct to ticket which only let you choose Liven rewards which almost useless as not many places accepted it now.

Hidden Cost
We’ve been using this app to shop in Foodle for some time until we realized it’s actually charging us as cash advance. We ended up paying more extra then saving far less. Not to mention now we have to pay for extra interest!

Great experience at Lotus Galleries
Food was full of flavor. Very nice ambiance. Service was good. Good range of dishes and drinks. Really enjoyed the steamed barramundi with ginger and shallots in particular. Highly recommended.
Misleading restaurant list
A number of restaurants listed no longer accept liven, yet it is still listed. When I contacted them about one, informing it is no longer accepting liven, liven continues to leave it on the platform as though it still does, even after many months of being informed it doesn’t take liven.
