So grateful to come across this app! I found so many farms and people offering fresh produce and eggs which is what I was looking for… easy to navigate and such a great way to find new places in your local community!

This app charges you $30 a year as if the developers actually help you with anything beyond what a google search does. It is literally just an aggregate site. Open the app and you can already tell this app was made using AI and took 3 hours to throw together. And they’re charging monthly to use it. Trying to see different products forces you into opening your web browser anyway? And what about the deals… “Box of 9 seasonal avocados… for $52!!!” “Sale!! Box of dragonfruit (2 lbs) $40!!” You can’t make this garbage up.

A google search will suffice
This app looks like someone scraped a bunch of (potentially out-dated) sources for farms and producers, stuck it in a map on an app, and slapped a paywall in front of it. The “Deals” tab shows a bunch of non-local, highly priced items, which often lead to dead links. I have no idea what in the ai slop is going on here but it’s not worth your time.

Best farmers app
God Send
This is an absolute God send. I am very happy to support local farmers and get quality food. It’s sad that we can’t even go to our own grocery stores without worrying what is it we are actually buying. This is how the people stand up to our oppressors! Much love and respect for this company.
Useless App
I live in San Antonio and everything on the map is nonsense online ads for BS products, this app may be good in other areas. Horrible and useless for San Antonio
7 day free trial *delete*
Seen online and thought to myself there might be some nice deals and I can help a small farm out. Was going though the first couple questions and then at the end right before I was able to help a small farm stay in business boom would you like to start a 7 day free trial *delete*.

Lousy. Website links lead to scam sites. “Deals” were mass marketing corporate offerings. Too many non farm simple small super markets labeled as farm.
Promotes raw dairy
The getting started quiz has raw dairy as an option for what you’re looking for, which is actually illegal to retail in my state/county. Crazy work.
Great resource
An awesome amount of data compiled to make it incredibly easy to find farms local to you. Includes descriptions and specifics on products offered by each farm. Love this!

If you're vegetarian be prepared to only see offers/bundles for meat even if you only select veg/fruit as what you're interested in.

Pay to access 🫠
As much as I’d love to support local farms and markets, having to pay for food while also paying a subscription is just not doable. Food is already so expensive in grocery stores and to then add a subscription on top of grocery costs is honestly way too much. Sure, there’s the seven day free trial, but that doesn’t take away the fact that it’s pay to access if you want to regularly use the app to find local food sources.

A breath of fresh air
Localize is truly a breath of fresh air! It has become increasingly difficult to find trusted foods and products from the stores and we needed this change. Now we can find farms and support them instead, know where our food came from, know what is in our food, and it’s way healthier and more nutritious getting it fresh! Thank you for this app is essential!
