Each one gets its own physical, satisfying toggle: a rotary deadbolt for locks, a rocker switch for lights and appliances, a swinging door for anything that opens and closes, and a security shield for anything armed or disarmed. HOW IT WORKS • Add a reminder for anything you check before leaving — a door, a garage, a car, even the stove • Pick the state type that fits: Locked/Unlocked, On/Off, Open/Closed, or Armed/Disarmed • Tap to toggle, and see its status at a glance from the Reminders screen • Optionally require you to be near the location before you can mark something checked, so you can't just tap it from the couch Lock Up Reminder doesn't connect to your locks, cameras, or any smart home hardware — it's not trying to control anything.
