An independent study companion for the ISC2 Certified Cloud Security Professional exam, built on the outline effective 1 August 2026. Each of the outline's 38 sections has at least one topic, including the two new sections on artificial intelligence and machine learning, 1.6 and 2.9.
THE OUTLINE
43 topics across the six domains, each tagged with the outline section it covers: Cloud Concepts, Architecture and Design (17 percent of the exam), Cloud Data Security (20), Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Security (17), Cloud Application Security (16), Cloud Security Operations (17), and Legal, Risk and Compliance (13). Each topic carries two lessons, 86 in all: one that teaches the idea, one that applies it. Each topic has its own concept diagram in its first lesson, and every lesson ends with a quick check.
WHAT IS INSIDE
215 original practice questions, each with a worked explanation. 129 flashcards and 86 glossary entries. 30 interactive scenario activities, five per domain, covering sorting, sequencing and matching. A 50-question timed practice form drawn in the published domain weights. Spaced repetition that resurfaces what you got wrong. Progress by domain, bookmarks and search.
HOW THE QUESTIONS ARE WRITTEN
CCSP is vendor neutral, so the questions test judgment: where the shared responsibility line falls for a given service model, what a key custody arrangement implies, and which obligations a technical control alone does not satisfy. Every explanation says why the key is right and quotes each wrong option with the reason it is weaker. Scenario questions also name the shortcut a candidate is most likely to pick and explain why it fails.
HOW THE OPTIONS ARE BUILT
Every option in a question, right and wrong, was written for the topic that question tests. The wrong options are the moves, rules, evidence, measures and definitions a candidate who half knows the topic would reach for, each written with the reason it loses. No wrong option borrows a system or a scenario from another topic, so you cannot strike one out by spotting a noun that belongs somewhere else.
ANSWER ORDER, LENGTH AND SHAPE
Each question deals its options into a stable per-question order, so no position becomes a habit. The bank is then scored the way a candidate who never reads the stem would answer it: by position, length, punctuation, wording and how much each option shares with the others, one feature or two at a time, more than ten thousand strategies in all. None of them gets more than 34 percent of the 215 questions right, about what the same search scores when the answer keys are shuffled at random, against the 25 percent a blind guess is worth.
WHAT IS FREE
The free tier works on its own: 12 lessons, 12 questions and 12 flashcards, fixed and spread across all six domains, one scenario activity in each domain, and the 8 glossary definitions that match the free flashcards. No account, no sign up, no trial clock.
THE UNLOCK
One payment opens the whole catalog: all 86 lessons, all 215 questions, all 129 flashcards, all 86 glossary entries, all 30 scenario activities, the timed practice form and spaced repetition across the entire bank. There is no subscription and no second purchase. Buying or restoring the unlock goes through the App Store, which needs a connection.
PRIVACY
Everything else runs on the device. No account, no sign up, no network needed, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, no data collection of any kind.
