Having a trouble with reading NFC tags
Hi first thanks for this initiative I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max I’m trying to read my home tag but the app refuses to read it
Not all heroes wear capes!!
Try this app out if you have zero impulse control (like me) and you’ll be surprised by the inconvenience of having to get up to unbrick your device. No longer does unconsciously reaching for my phone send me on hour long doom scrolls. I’m (slowly) feeling my attention span return.
Huge kudos to this developer. It really does just work. What could easily be gated behind a costly subscription or polluted by ads is free, functional, well designed and it continues to receive updates. I almost never go out of my way to leave a review but the dude seriously deserves the 5⭐️s

Simple, fast, free
The perfect app for a guy like me who is addict to Tiktok or other app. Maybe add the option to Lock without an NFC tag and just need the tag to Unlock and it will be more perfect.
Edit: update with the possibility to lock without the nfc tag and for a certain amount of Time. Perfect app

Great app! Some quick feedback
Amazing app, I really love it. The concept is brilliant, and I especially like being able to block apps for a specific amount of time.
I wasn’t really sure where to leave feedback, so I’m writing it here. It could be great to have a small “Contact the creator / Feedback” section directly in the app, where you could leave a short message or easily copy an email address to get in touch.
One feature I’d love is an “inverse” mode: instead of blocking an app for a duration, being able to unlock it for a limited time and then have it automatically block again. I think this would help create more mindful breaks, especially when scrolling.
The NFC tag system is already very cool. A nice improvement would be the ability to assign a specific action or mode to a specific NFC tag. For example, scanning a tag placed in my living room could automatically enable or disable a “Living Room” mode, while other tags could trigger different modes (kitchen, bedroom, etc.) without extra steps in the app.
It would also be amazing if time-based app blocking and modes could be integrated into iPhone Shortcuts. This would allow things like placing your phone on a desk or scanning a tag to trigger a full focus setup (blocking apps for a set time, starting music, enabling a specific mode, etc.).
