Total garbage - returning

Can’t get the stupid thing to even setup. It gets to enter a code and then cannot connect to the server. It’s now stuck in a loop, can’t delete and start again.. returning.

Unacceptable for a $400 Security Product

After my Lockin lock temporarily lost its Wi-Fi connection, the Auto-Lock feature completely stopped following its schedule. It is configured to activate from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM, but instead it locks throughout the day and remains unlocked overnight.

The app displays the correct schedule, and the lock’s time and video timestamps are correct. Even worse, the lock continues immediately relocking after Auto-Lock is turned completely off and the battery is disconnected and reinstalled. This creates both a security risk and the possibility of someone being locked out.

The Matter integration is also extremely limited and frequently reports stale information to Home Assistant, so it cannot be trusted as a reliable backup.

For a lock costing more than $400, this is unacceptable. A security product should reliably follow its configured settings. I also contacted Lockin support and received no response. Expensive hardware, unreliable software, limited smart-home support, and nonexistent customer service. I cannot recommend this lock or app.

Can’t copy/paste in login screen.

Are you expecting people to use long, strong passwords and force them to type them into the login form??? I spent the last 15 minutes trying to copy from my password manager and paste into this app’s sign up form. This is nuts!

Wifi does NOT work

WiFi only worked for a month, after that no matter what it won’t connect. Gets to 90% and it fails, yes I’m on a dedicated 2.4ghz

Product and app work seamlessly.

I’d suggest they add a lock/unlock widget for the iphone. That’d really take the lock next level.

Veno Pro works great and the Lockin Smart app is really good too

I’ve been using Lockin Smart with the Veno Pro for a while now, and it’s been solid.
The Veno Pro itself is great—well thought out, easy to use, and it does what it’s supposed to without any fuss. The Lockin Smart app matches that: clean interface, no clutter, and connecting and changing settings is quick. You don’t get that “good hardware, bad app” feeling. Hardware and app feel like one system, which is nice. If you’re shopping around for something in this space, I’d recommend giving this combo a try.

It takes FOREVER to start a live video or to play back, hit or miss

App keeps logging me out, I have to put password every time, no option for "remember me" for the hassle

I reserved on your website CES2026 New Model VENO PRO WIRELESS .. Please don't let me regret

UPDATE: I already returned VENO PLUS and now i own 2 VENO PALM .. They both work totally fine WITHOUT cameras.

System error

Out of nowhere, it won’t allow me to log in or reset my password! Cannot do anything including unlock my door without a key. I replaced the battery, tried resetting it “again” which erases everything. Useless if you cannot log in. I get a “ log I. Information is invalid, please try again” so then I tried resetting my password and get a “system error please try again later.” Checked my Bluetooth, router setting both show it. So that’s not the problem.

I have the basic one without the video camera, so can’t speak much to that however, the palm recognition is Fantastic. App is good, does the job. I get my notifications and I’m able to make. Adjustments quickly.

App update

I just got the update installed and I have gotten 15 notifications of movement within the last 1/2 hour or so. I live near a road so this is getting on my nerves. Is there a way to turn down the sensitivity or have more control for my environment? The percentage update is great add though.

Subpar App

The hardware and technology are great, but the app experience is not great.

Viewing recorded events takes WAY too long to load, sometimes not even loading right or being unable to view anything until it is done loading. Crazy bad. This need to be improved ASAP.

The fact that the lock waits until the battery drops to 70% to charge with the solar panel is silly. The panels should always let it fully charged.

This system is way too expensive to function this way.

Went from Non functional to functional in a couple hours

Update: Seems to be working fine all of a sudden. I’m giving it 3 stars and waiting to see how it works for the next couple days

Update 2: Next day, I switch to a strictly 2.4 GHz channel on my router and it seems to be working much better! Increased rating to 4 stars

I got this Veno Pro smart lock today and it’s been frustrating using this app. The door lock itself is good but the app functionalities don’t seem to work.

I can’t even lock and unlock the door, can’t see the camera live feed, and keep trying and failing to create passcodes. Just an overall frustrating experience with the app. Please, do something before I decide to return your product

The video is useless

It basically decides when to work , which is never. I should’ve purchased eufy’s familock their video pops up quickly- my friend has one and their battery lasts 6 months instead of this ones 3. If you’re going to spend the money get a familock because the app for this lock is trash

Missing Important Options

The app seems to work well; however, the absence of a way to disable the voice confirming “door locked” is a massive oversight! It is extremely loud, and not only can it not be disabled, the volume of that voice confirmation cannot even be lowered. In the middle of the night, if the door gets shut, the “door locked” confirmation can be heard throughout the entire house. The default volume which can’t be changed is so loud, it has woken my family from sleep.
