The best app ever
It lets people make tare on song
BEST DAW
Been using LOGIC , It better before ya’ll bought it…but still good.
Not Free
To pay just for a single project
Ridiculous Bundle Requirement
Apple has decided to remove the standalone $4.99/month option for this app. It is now required that you get the bundled $12.99/month Creator Studio whether or not you want/need video and image editing. The fact that it’s not a one time purchase in the first place was egregious enough but this is absurd. Also, you lose access to all your music if you don’t pay the bundled price. Since other users have been grandfathered in that means it is still possible to separate the apps into separate pricing tiers. Greed on full display with this one.

Best for Production
I have tries cube base, Alton live, and a few others. Nothing has come close to the quality of this app. I would recommend it for producers, for tinkerers use the free version, garage band.
Great but can be better for beat makers
The browser could be improved to make finding, previewing, and dragging samples, loops, MIDI files, presets, and plugins much faster and more intuitive. The Piano Roll could also include easier access to tools like Strum, Flam, Randomize, Chop, Arpeggiate, and Humanize without interrupting the creative workflow. Better velocity control would also help, especially if it were possible to adjust note velocities faster and more visually while editing MIDI. These improvements would make the overall beat-making workflow feel quicker, smoother, and more focused on creativity.

Aaaarrrrrrgh!!!
Not providing long-term owners of the desktop version a pathway to a single-app subscription is extremely obnoxious and distasteful. It shows a lack of gratitude for many years of loyalty and support.
Apple deserves any backlash, lost revenue, contempt and abandonment they experience over this. Who knows if they would even notice or care?
This is what our loyalty means to them.

Awesome DAW
This is a great app for artists, producers, composers and singers.
Compatible with the desktop version and great tutorials.

My goto recording software
Although I have tried others and still keep other audio recording apps in my system. I’ve been using Logic since the Emagic days before Apple. I like it so much that I find myself using it even for small tasks since the interface is so intuitive. I also like being able to use my iPad to do a mobile session and bring the project home to use on my Mac. The continuing development and support has kept this software leading the industry for decades

Why did I get this
Sounds great, no easy way to understand it. Loads of trial and error. The YouTube tutorials are at 1000miles an hour speech. There is no actual help for the $12.99 we spend each month. I resort to CHAT-GPT, CLAUDE-AI, even GOOGLE Ai. ANYTHING, but NOT apple! So disappointed. But then again, it’s apple so I should have seen this coming. I HAD HIGHER EXPECTATIONS based on your fake ads

Love it and hoping for a few more things in the future
EDIT: Still love it and it’s gotten better! Wishing for Flex Pitch and some more key commands and adjustments! I love that we are in an era where this is finally available on the iPad! Using the touch screen along side with a Magic Keyboard, Apple Pencil, and a mouse, my workflow is efficient and satisfying!
My suggestions if possible:
- more key commands similar to Logic Pro X
(PIANO ROLL, etc.)
- mouse assignment for right click (Cut tool, Pencil tool, etc.)

It is like GarageBand, only problem is that it needs subscription to get into it
This is very ridiculous, wanting money just to get into the app is crazy
