- fix for broken loottables

User reviews

Good nostalgic gameplay, poor documentation

This reminds me of the old Spiderweb Software computer rpg games that I played as a kid. It has a surprising amount of depth in its stat interactions (e.g., your success rate gets worse and you take more damage if there is no light or your character is exhausted). I’ve already put a lot of hours into it and only feel like I’ve scratched the surface.

However, that is also its major deficiency. There is so much going on that it is often difficult to tell what the correct way to play is. For example, I am currently level capped at 20. How do I lift this? How do I find a trainer who can give me more stat points to use? I found one in the start of the Tunnels, but no more even down to level 17. Is there a way of figuring out crafting and spell recipes, or do you need to wait for them to randomly drop? Early on, I got new recipes automatically (I.e., not as a dropped item) for no apparent reason, but this hasn’t happened for a long time. I currently only have one spell I can cast and I’ve never done it because it only creates light and lanterns are cheap. How do I mine? I already have a pickax. There are even apparently pets and minions and base building, but I’ve never seen even a hint of this in game. What does item combination do? It always says that the combo doesn’t do anything. Where can I find a mystic forge? All of this is getting a bit frustrating because my obvious avenues to progress (Tunnels, Fairy Kingdom, and the rat area) are gated by extremely difficult encounters where often I cannot even successfully hit the enemies.

Normally this sort of stuff would be explained in a help system, but there is none. The only direction is in short snippets of flavor text, which are often not specific enough. There is a Fandom wiki, but it’s nearly empty. Please add better instructions for how the various systems work and where you should look next for progression!

Response from developer

Thank you very much for your feedback! I will add a help system asap! Kind regards, Mario.

Unsatisfying ending and controls

Game doesn’t hold up well past level 30, have to wait 24 hours if you want to mine ores, weapons do not progress. Controls are also very clunky, experience as s whole is very underwhelming.

Great game!

You will need the wiki and the discord chat to get all the good stuff, but it’s fun leveling up as you try to figure out what all the scrolls, runes, and other loot does. Looking forward to 2.0.

Thank you very much! Kind regards, Mario.

Worth the money

My only complaint is the map. Most games let you zoom in/out with your fingers. The game itself is good and worth the money.

Perfect dungeon crawler.

Exactly what you want. Randomized levels, plenty of loot, crafting, milestones, the works.
