Seriously…
The price models are constantly changing with no reason in sight. $17.99/mo and $9.99/wk is insane. Why the constant increases? Each story only releases two episodes per month as well. That’s a lot of money spent when stories have gone up to 20 chapters so far. I could potentially understand if stories were released quicker, but wow…

False advertising
This is a subscription model. It is advertised as free but it is NOT! It’s an AI game where you get a couple chapters free and then they force you into buying a monthly subscription to continue to play. The story is good, but it’s not worth a monthly sub. I’d play if you could watch ads to play, pay for so many chapters/messages at a time, have a wait period to play a chapter, or be able to play without messaging characters. I understand they need to make money, but the sub price is ridiculous. As a former marketing major there are so many other ways to do this than what is actually happening. This game forces you to pay a large amount to even continue to play. I pay less for some of my streaming services.

Amazing game
My only feedback would be to make it so we can restart a chapter maybe? I made a wrong decision and it’s the end of a story now I have to go and re do the whole
Thing all over again.
Thing all over again.
So good
The only thing that can make it better would be m/m stuff
Could use improvement
Things that need reworked:
1.) I’d like the ability to start a chapter over whenever I’d want (not have to restart the story)
2.) The option to skip texting and advance when I want to (I don’t want to be forced to interact with characters that I don’t want to interact with)
3.) I’ve noticed some definite issues and lagging in the app (Says I’ve already started stories I never started, somehow using my full name instead of just my first name, lags in game, messages popping up but then disappearing)
4.) I’d like the opportunity to customize the character

Uses AI
I downloaded thinking it was just another romance story game but it’s actually AI 👎🏼 no thanks
Avatar
Good game so far, but why is there no option to change avatar before starting the story. That would make it much better.
Intriguing
I was skeptical about this app at first. I’ve been in love with the Choices app for a long time. And every time I’ve ever tried any similar apps, they just never seem to be as good. But Choices has really, really gone downhill in the last year or so. I’ve grown rather tired of it and it’s cheap AI writing. So when I came across this app, I really wanted to give it a try. I absolutely love that it’s just one simple monthly subscription price. No complicated gems or the simplest decisions that cost an arm and a leg to unlock. Just one flat fee and you get the whole story. I also really like that you get to text the characters in between chapters. It gives the story a much more realistic and personal feel to them. My one and only qualm though is that there just aren’t enough stories out right now. I am quite the bookworm and I tend to read a lot in one sitting. having to wait a whole week just for the next chapter to come out is a bit of a bummer. I might unsubscribe for a couple of months until a good amount of new chapters come out. But I think it has great potential. The stories are actually interesting, it doesn’t feel like it was written with flat, boring, lifeless, AI. It’s really, really cool. I am very glad I checked it out. And I can’t applaud enough over the flat monthly fee vs the crazy expensive cost for keys and gems like these other apps have.

THE BEST STORY GAME
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST GAME MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS I RAN THROUGH THE STORY TO FAST BECAUSE OF HOW HOOKED I GOT!! Absolutely 10/10
So worth it!
Honestly as an avid Episode and Choices lover, I love this app. While it’s still new and there are some bugs, the best part about it is the $9.99 a month subscription where you can pick any choice! The chatting is actually so real and so well developed and it’s super realistic. My only (selfish) complaint is that I want more stories and faster chapters!!! But otherwise, I love this game so much!

Best interactive story game!!
When you play this game they are overly generous. You get to play a couple chapters free then will get asked if you want a 3-day free trial. It’s important you say yes. The game is so fun and if you are constantly online doom scrolling I think this is better. I normally doom-scroll during my day until I found this app. Suddenly I love reading. You take different pathways that have different outcomes. Make sure you choose the right choice! You can cancel your subscription at anytime without paying anything. Once you cancel your subscription you’re still allowed to continue on with your free trial. There’s many games. And in 3 days you can complete around 3 stories. If you’re consistent. This came is so amazing! I truly hope you get it!!

Love but needs improvements
Love. The app keeps crashing not fun. Needs more completed stories. Love.
.
All u need is to add you can play has boys and the game with be better
Not free
They advertise everywhere that it’s free. Not true. You get three chapters in and they require a membership to continue. The stories are great, and the graphics are excellent, but free is not realistic. Even in the other games that they’re complaining about in their advertisements, you at least have an option of not buying diamonds or hearts or whatever the game takes, but hear the story ends if you refuse to buy a membership.

Best Choose your Own Adventure
I am obsessed! The stories are engaging and immersive! I love everything about it.
Great app but…
I genuinely like Lore more than apps like Chapters, Choices, Episode, and Love Island. In my opinion, the animation, visuals, outfits, character expressions, and overall realism are on a completely different level. The quality is incredible, and it’s obvious that a lot of work goes into each chapter.
However, my biggest issue is the release schedule. I pay for Lore, as well as other interactive story apps, and those apps typically release new stories or chapters weekly, bi-weekly, or at least monthly. With Lore, it feels like we wait months for a single chapter. I understand that the higher-quality graphics and animations require more development time, but waiting several months for one chapter while paying for a subscription feels excessive.
I also think Lore would have benefited from launching with more completed stories across different genres. I’ve replayed The Fate Game about four times because it’s the only completed story that really pulls me in with its romantic thriller elements. I’d love to have more finished stories available while waiting for updates.
Another feature I’d love to see is more character customization. It would be nice if we could make our characters look more like ourselves instead of choosing from limited presets.
Lastly, I wish there was a dedicated section for completed stories. Right now, it’s difficult to tell what’s finished and what’s still ongoing, and you have to scroll through everything to find stories. A separate “Completed Stories” category would make the app much easier to navigate.
Overall, Lore has the potential to be the best interactive story app on the market, but I think faster content updates, more completed stories, better customization, and improved organization would make the experience even better.

Updates
This game is fun. Maybe the payments should be removed or lowered. Also can we be able to edit our avatars in the beginning of the story
Disappointed
It’s okay. I wish there were more stories. We’re paying for the membership. Some of the stories ended with no resolution.
Love and you will too
Absolutely love lore. I have played all of the stories so far and can’t wait for more.
Love but…
Absolutely love playing and stories are intriguing but don’t advertise an all-access subscription but no way to access. I’ve emailed the developers twice and still no response. Customer service is certainly lacking so respond to your paying customers and will certainly improve the rating!
