Works most of the time.
I got this system in January 2025. It worked great. Within the last six months or so, I have had problems viewing my cameras remotely. Randomly, one or more is offline. I get the error message “tap to retry.” This happens when I get a notification that someone or something is on my property. I go to see what it is, but the app fails. I updated the firmware and “rebooted the system” multiple times to no avail. It is disappointing. I really wanted to like it. I do not recommend.

Latest update broke SD/HD setting
It now always defaults to SD. Why?? No one wants to look at their 4k cameras in SD. FIX IT ASAP!!!

Cameras don't load
Every time when i open this app to check cameras, it always gives issues and doesn't load cameras and keeps asking to reload.
Loading Live View - Error
works 2/5, take a long time to connect to the cameras, a lots of error while trying to connect, must always close and open the app hoping it will finally works..
Never able to play the past events
Horrible app . Can’t view what happened in the past and the app never loads and play for the playback events. So frustrating

I also have had this system since 2020 and have experienced problems. Never has worked as it should. The app constantly closes on me. The mic feature does not work. Just updated the app and it got worse!!!!!
Cameras are decent, app is not
App is frequently offline. Two of our cameras no longer show motion alerts.

Using this app, it constantly loves to say something went wrong and you’re not able to look at your system the company is refusing to fix it and I have been putting up with this for a month now I also have reached out to the company and they have not been able to do anything to fix it
Ongoing issue has not been addressed and it’s been months
I’m tired of the oops something went wrong error showing up randomly in the app and the cameras not being accessible for days. This issue has been going on for months now it’s crazy.
Doesn’t capture
There is a dvr for a reason and alerts supposedly but every time I try to open an alert I get “oh oh something went wrong” message. My app is completely updated and so is my phone so now if someone brakes in all I am going to get from both the dvr and the alerts is “oh oh” tf?
All has long since been completely useless and jeopardizes my family’s safety & security of my home
The fact that this app is useless for sooo many users (check all the 1* reviews) is straight up negligence and this company needs to be held accountable. I will be reaching out to the FTC and BBB
Camera settings
I have lost the ability to change the camera from standard definition to high definition. I can change the settings and as soon as I close the app and reopen it the settings reverts back to standard definition. This is unacceptable and will be looking for a replacement system
Unreliable
Update or no, this app is still rubbish. Live view and playback can’t be counted on. Uh oh something went wrong-what moron wrote that error message? Totally useless message. Multiple devices, same message.
Updated app doesn’t work anymore
The app used to work great with my system that I got from Costco but it doesn’t work anymore. Can’t connect to the NVR regardless if I’m using cellular data or WiFi.

Ever since the newest update, you cannot see full screen on your iPad come on guys fix it
Since they changed form Lorex home to classic we had so many issues
Now our cameras look offline. The WiFi is working properly no change of password or router.
The sensitivity of the camera doesn’t work and doesn’t even let you know when someone is in the areas designated to send a notification.
They’re not cheap cameras and all the sudden started acting like a cheap one

Decent
Could use a major update. Always having trouble connecting to my devices. Had to replace my doorbell camera twice due to a hardware glitch. Always have trouble connecting to the doorbell camera even though it’s got good Wi-Fi connection. The cameras that are hardwired seems to have another glitch where it it doesn’t play a couple seconds if someone moves near the camera. I’ll probably get rid of this product soon.

Privacy Nightmare -- Somerimed Useful
In the app privacy statemen, this app harvests everything to which it has access.
Necessary for new camera setup. After setup, I lock the camera out of the internet and delete this app. I use another means to view cameras behind my firewall.
