Great tracker.

I used My Fitness Pal for years but got frustrated with it. Lose It is easy to use and I am very happy with it. The only thing I don’t like is all the Positive Pattern notifications. I eat a lot of foods repeatedly. I don’t need to see that my daily use of half and half is a positive pattern because believe me it’s not!!

Use it to Lose It

When I use this app my weight is down. When I don’t use it my weight is up. I am never going to not use it again!!

Weight loss

It used to be a lot better app years ago.

Great app

This is a great app. I only used the free version, but man was it effective. The calories were accurate and helped drive a deficit for loss. Community pages to talk and support other users. You can share your meals and seee what other people in the world are eating.

And it was free.

Maybe have a scanner so that you don’t have to log each component, but it is great as is.

Love this Tracker!

Lose It! is extremely easy to use and navigate! I love how I can look up the foods I want and see nutrition information before I decide to put it in my mouth! It really helps me stay motivated, and I love the fasting option. I’ve noticed a big difference in how I feel by adding fasting to my regimen. The only thing that holds me back from giving it a 5-Star rating is that when tracking blood pressure it needs the option to be able to track your pulse at the same time.

Fine app, scummy advertising

I like using this app for the intended calorie counting features. What I dislike is the newsletter that promotes healthy eating habits having what I assume are affiliate links for each product they recommend. I have since unsubscribed, but I would hope for better from an app with a premium subscription.

Another scummy thing I observed is that a few weeks into purchasing an annual subscription, I got some magical (sarcasm) limited time 68% off discount for a lifetime premium membership that showed up at the top of my premium user interface and had to go into my settings to remove. I then got an email with the same limited time offer days after the initial limited time offer expired.

Most users will not need to track calories after an annual subscription, and this app is trying to milk more money out of users that have already paid for a subscription.

This app is easy to use but nothing special compared to other products.

Amazing Tracking App

Whether you’re a beginner or a veteran, this app is for you. It is easy to navigate and look items up to track the intake throughout the day. While linked with a compatible device, it will also track as best as it can, the outtake. This is far better and superior than any other calorie tracking app. It’s also reasonably affordable.

Ads for paid membership

This app will keep pushing you to buy premium, I did. Kept pushing for yearly. I did. Kept pushing for lifetime. I caved. I still get ads for this service I pay for. I’m sorry, a “member exclusive” deal (that anyone can get anywhere) is not a perk, it’s an ad the owners of this app are being paid to push on to me. I’ve asked for them to stop. They keep pushing them.

Critical to Weight loss goals

In the past, I have resisted calorie counting. It seemed so restrictive. But Lose It! was absolutely critical for supporting my weight loss goals. 75 pounds and counting. It made inputting information very easy because there are so many ways to get the information in and also allowed me to track macro nutrients in addition to just calories, which has been very very important for me. I recommend this highly. It’s a great program and I am now a lifetime subscriber.

Very thorough

I used to use myfitnesspal back in the day but when I returned to CICO it wasn’t the same as it used to be. I wanted a good tracking app that had a lot of features and was pretty simple. Lose it fit the bill. Around the holidays I ended up buying the life long subscription since they had it for sale. I highly recommend this approach if you get the opportunity.

Helped me lose 80 pounds

Not a bot

It’s fine but

Why do you need to pay to scan food? Some food isn’t even in the app when searching so you need to use the scanner, but there’s a limit on it and then it wants you to pay an expensive subscription just to scan food????

Email communication tremendous!!

I was confused about a charge. I entered a request in the help option in the app. I received email communication that’s explained everything. It was the easiest assistance from an app I’ve ever gotten.
I also love the app. I’ve been tracking for 400+ days.

Great but...

The calorie information is often not accurate, and the ads are annoying, but other than that, it’s great. I could never have lost 72 lbs., if not for Lose It!

Helps me reach my goals

I love the Lose It! App. I have been using since October 2025 in hopes of it helping me lose weight for my daughter’s wedding on June. By tracking everything I ate really opened my eyes about what I was really eating daily and how much I was over eating. I was able to focus more on fiber and protein a with the help of tracking on the app. I eat appropriate serving sizes now. I like that I was able to sync with my Fitbit and I am able to see my sleep, exercise and calories all in one place. Lose It! has help me change my body and life!

Love it

I love lose it ! Simple and helped me lose 20 lbs in 2 months

Lifetime

The only thing I don’t like is it doesn’t tell you how to become a lifetime member
I wanted my friend to become a lifetime member I don’t know how to get that lifetime membership was it canceled? I don’t know.

Money Hungry

I’ve been using this app for a very long time (at least 8 years) and everything was cool until recently when they made scanning barcodes a premium feature after all this time. That’s an issue for me because it’s been free since the feature was added. As soon as I find a replacement app, I will be deleting this. I may as well be writing everything down in my notes if I can’t scan barcodes anymore. At least an inkpen and paper is free. I refuse to pay for this app, I don’t care how many promo codes you advertise when I open it

Cool app but adding recipes is so bad

I recently bought this app and was excited to use. I’ve used the free version for a while and liked it, so decided to buy it so I could add and save recipes I cook regularly so I don’t have to type in the individual ingredients each time. Well I’m so disappointed with this feature, it needs a lot of work! Pasting in the ingredients, it often gets a lot of them wrong so have to go in an edit them. It’s very very timing consuming and not user friendly. I can’t add my own pictures. Online it’s worse because you can’t paste the ingredients. Things I do like is how it tracks micros and goals but gosh they need to improve the recipes because it takes too much time to track food if I have to type everything so recipes are key.

I love your app

I use your app every day. I appreciate the help. It gives me occasionally. I have to really hunt for something. I probably do not know how to use it properly because sometimes I get lost so I wish it was easier to post a recipe when I try to put them out of protein in the things that I keep track of it doesn’t always let me do that. Any suggestions for Mi mie? Thank you.
