Literally a waste of money

I bought this app because i really wanted it to be good, but i literally cant even make it past the set up account page because unlabeled errors keep happening and im unable to even log in. I have the most recent version and everything. I had to go searching their webiste for an email address to send questions too (there’s nothing on the actual app regarding help if you need it) and I sent an email because like i said, i really wanted this app to work, but I’ve gotten no response at all. I hate to leave a bad review on a new app that’s trying to make it, but i literally wasted $5 buying this. At least I can help others save money.

Solid small game

This is a good game to practice only basic cafe words. But does well with what it offers, you can earn coins in the game to make the coffee serve faster or buy more things to sell( ie. learn more words and different combinations). The only thing I would ask of the developers is just to continue adding a few more items, so I can learn more words in the long run. Great game.

Unusable

I really want to use this app, but on the phone it will not let me click on the textbox. I can’t go forward. :(

Hello! I apologize, the version we released on May 17 (v1.05.00) had a bug where new installs couldn't complete the tutorial. This has now been fixed in v1.05.01, so if you update your game you'll be all set to get started!

Audio issues

I cannot get past the first bit of dialogue due to the audio not working.

so fun and helpful

I saw another review that said you can only play for one minute but if you pay the coins only one time you can play for two minutes or five minutes and it’s really convenient, no ads and very fun and helpful and educational. I’m using it for Japanese and you can turn off Romanji which is very cool.

Great app

Fun to use and learn. I don't like how you can only play for 1 minute and then it resets, i wish you could just keep playing. Also add a donate button! Thanks!

Great concept; needs lots of work

Updating the UI is drastically needed. Also, no sound! Iphone 13 pro, other apps working fine.

But please keep up the work. I like the idea so far but to be fair its almost unplayable still.

Horrible for the first time.

started up the app and registered and then when it came to choosing where i wanted to start, it froze my ipad and couldn’t do anything. i couldn’t leave the app or go to the menu. restarted my ipad and tried to see if it would work and it did it again, i don’t trust this app.

Bad Game

They should’ve probably done more work before releasing this. I understand still in development but I can’t get past the starting level. I was given no tutorial and nothing about game mechanics.

Hello! Around the date of this review we were having some issues with new logins/registrations. These have been resolved and we've also just launched a new update with some new features. We apologize for the bad experience you had when first downloading the game, but we hope you'll revisit and give Lost Abroad Café another try!

great potential

the idea is really great, but i wasn’t able to get past the tutorial…

there seems to be an issue with screen size. i’m using an iphone 14, and the screen cuts of slightly around the edges. this is mostly noticeable around the notch part of the screen.
i was also unable to click on the clipboard area during the tutorial because a banner ad was in the way

overall, the idea is definitely something that seems cool!! keep up the good work, dev!

In our most recent update (v1.03) we have added more space around the screen so that the clipboard and other objects aren't blocked or unclickable.
