Needs improvements
I am using this App and website while I’m going through brain surgery. The website is great, but the app has room for improvement. 1) you can’t see the full calendar. 2) you can’t choose what notifications you get and what notifications you don’t get (like I want to only be notified of pending requests not when people volunteer for something. But that’s not an option). 3) There’s not a way on the app or the website to make a reoccurring task (not just duplicating it but also a way to say “every Monday 7-11am indefinitely). 4) Also, it would be nice on the website and App Calendar if there are multiple tasks in a day but only some tasks have a volunteer and some don’t, for it to be striped grey and pink instead of remaining pink.

Horrible App in Time of Need
Provides minimal info, slow loading and then it just quit working altogether when my best friend is about to pass and needed most. Deleted & reinstalling it didn’t help. Great idea but poor execution
Great when it works
Our friend’s family is using this as they go through cancer with a four-year-old while having three other children at home aged 11 and two more four-year-olds. I Go into the app and I can’t get anything to show up. It just is a blank screen. The website does weird things too. I wish it wasn’t so glitchy as I NEED to sign up for shifts next week but just cannot get the app to let me do it.

Doesn’t work. At all.
It won’t even start. I attempted to log in, and I just see a spinning death wheel that never ends next to my family team name. Such a bummer.

Make Calendar View Please!

Could be easier to use
There isn’t an easy way to share. In fact I can’t find a share button on the app. I would suggest a share button under the settings tab.
Changing a date on an event with reaccuring dates doesn’t seem to be possible and I had to delete the event and start over.
I do love that this is one place to ask for all things in the help need realm!

Almost there!
LHH checks alot of boxes in that it has a robust desktop browser version for Admins. However the App is missing ONE key feature: CALENDAR VIEW!Currently, (as of April 2023) the only way I can view All tasks and needs is in a List view. This makes it difficult for Volunteers to get an overview of needs.
There is a Calendart Icon at the top of the List view however it DOES NOTHING. Please, LHH - implement a Calendar View on the App!

Garbage
This app is a disaster! Constantly makes you log in although that depends on if the app even opens. Keeps saying I don’t have a good internet connection when I am standing next to my router. Doesn’t send links to contacts that are valid. Tells me I don’t have an account when I do. It’s a hot mess. You’d do better paying for Google calendar.

Viewing at a glance
I was disappointed to have to scroll day by day to see task openings. I just went back to using the website. Will be deleting this app.
Password won’t reset
I have requested password reset and no emails sent. The app suddenly lost my login. Now I can’t get in at all. Disappointed

Stable and User Friendly
We have been using this software for the last four months with over 200 people in our group and had have zero problems.
I like their use of KISS principle which is important given the diverse low-tech user community.

Bad app for a great service
This app needs a lot of work. The interface with the website and vice versa is horrible. Updates, announcements, etc. entered on the app. do not show up on the website and vice versa. Best to stick with the functionality of the website. Works better.
No support from Lotsa Helping Hands
The set up is easy the concept is tremendous but all of a sudden the automatic reminders stopped sending for the tasks. Support claims a response in 24 hours. No response 72 hours later and two follow up emails. No phone support either. This is a fabulous tool, but the reminder feature is essential.

Won’t update Tasks when comments are added
We have an active task with many people commenting. None of the comments are appearing in the app though. Tried restarting it, etc. We can only see them on the website. This makes the app completely useless. Please fix whatever caching nonsense is happening here and I’ll update the review with a higher rating.

Frustrated
I just created an account. Then I downloaded the app. I tried to log in. It said my email and password don’t match. They do match. I can get on the site through the email I received. So I tried to set up my account through the app. It said this account is already in use. It still wouldn’t let me log in through the app.
