What happened to Luma?
The app started out ok, but overtime nearly every feature was bricked & now is essentially useless. What are they even trying to do now? Thanks for training your models from all of our data & then bait & switch scamming
Amazing app… When it works
I love this app, it’s amazing when it works and I am a keen user to remember scenes and places. The biggest issue for me over the past 6+ months is how often I get the error “upload failed” and “could not create capture”. It’s not the capture, because it almost always ends up working in the end, but sometimes it takes hundreds of tried.

Funktioniert gar nicht !
Leider funktioniert hier nur das anmelden bin sehr enttäuscht, kein Bild , kein Video nichts ging , hab nicht mal ein Ergebnis gesehen mich wundert woher die Rezensionen herkommen! Wird wieder gelöscht!
CAPTURES DASHBOARD NOT WORKING
I can’t have access to my captures dashboard. The URL ‘lumalabs.ai/dream-machine/captures leads to a bran ld new site and does not allow me to access my captures. Also, the phone app is not charging and says ‘safari cannot open bc site was not found’. Can anybody please check this issue? It is causing me issues.

Don’t waste your time. Nothing in the app works anymore. Not sure why and I don’t care to do research and I don’t know why it’s not working. I have been trying for days. I thought I was doing it wrong or something but don’t worry it’s not you. The app is just dead.

It long to render the video and it may takes days or weeks or it may stop the rendering of the video we upload
14 Hours and waiting
I’ve been waiting for my capture to complete for 14 hours. No progress bar, eta, or signs of completing. This is my first capture. I wouldn’t waste your time.
Neat but…
It’s neat and works. But they scam a lot of personal info. Like they now require me to give my phone number to them or I can no longer even log in to my stuff.
In the dark about endless queuing
Luma 3D blows competitor apps like Polycam, KIRI, Scaniverse out of the water. UPDATED 23/4/26: Constant queuing issue resolved for me.. For now.. I hope this app stays.
Waited 4 days and $25 nothing happened

Seems cool, but it doesnt really work.
I have successfully created a render before, but lately it just says it is rendering… and a week later is still not done.
Does this actually work?
Im really hoping someone can tell me this is user error issue but I have attempted scanning a couple of my sculptors .. that was about 2 weeks ago and the app still says its processing ? Is this normal?

The app takes days to process a screenshot, it seems like they abandoned this project.
