What's New in Scaniverse

5.2.6

August 3, 2026

The new Scaniverse experience keeps getting better. Export cloud-generated assets straight from the app, no more switching to the web to grab your files. That includes USDZ, a format that works great for robotics simulation. The capture flow also got a full redesign, and you can now sign in with Apple. Prefer Classic? It's right where you left it, same as always. Plus the usual bug fixes and performance improvements.

Rotating

Please allow us to rotate splat scans. It’s been over 2 years and still no support to rotate splats, or change the background color, or view in AR.

Update; the pushing to post to meta and connect your account and to post online front and center takes away from the app.. It would be nice if there was just a focused mode to quickly scan and view your scans like there was years ago. // A Phenomenal company giving powerful tools to the people for free. This company puts human exploration and advancement above market profits, caring more about giving tools to future generations. Bravo !!
Update: Still phenomenal, splats are so so so crazy good! I can’t wait until you can rotate, AR view, and export a splat scan just like a mesh scan; keep up the important work!

Honestly this is as good as free gets I mean if you want perfect models for free this is for you I made my entire room I could mistake this for a photo besides that it is 3d and you can look around this is amazing

Pity

The starting page is too large for iPhone 17pro, hence can’t click “continue”….pity
