Does not stay connected, pain in the butt
I contacted LumeCube support over a year ago explaining that the app frequently “forgets” your connected LumeCube lights, which means you need to go to each light, reset its Bluetooth function, repair in the app, and then create your groups and settings from scratch. It’s not a rare issue, it happens once every couple weeks on average. They told me an update should hopefully fix it soon. Well, I see the app is regularly updated, but in the 2 years I’ve been using it I haven’t noticed any differences to this bug or any UI changes, so I don’t know what the heck they are updating…

Bluetooth capabilities are HORRENDOUS
You’ll have to continually delete and re-download the app hoping it can find the light (I have an XL tube).
I’ve gone days without it being able to connect.
This app is terrible.
Even when it’s connected, it will occasionally lose sync and say the device is off when you can visibly see the light on.
If you’re considering these lights for the Bluetooth controls, STAY FAR AWAY.

Cubes don’t link
My lume cubes will link to the app so I can use them
Bluetooth
Bluetooth is set off on my Luma cube RGB pro panel 2.0. Once Bluetooth is selected with a little blue arrow, the toggle wheel will not turn it on. It just stays on off. There are no user manuals online that detail this specifically. I would stay away from these products
Bluetooth connection doesn’t work
I’ve had a lot of back and forth w them. This is unfortunate as they’re great lights! But the app is completely useless. If I manage to pair them, days later it can’t find the lights and I have to uninstall app, turn off Bluetooth on lights, turn it back on, initiate the pairing process again etc. I am not the only person with this experience so it’s a bit concerning they claim there’s no issue or they can’t replicate.

Wont connect
I got my lights connected and now randomly it wont find one or the other now it wont find either. Im uninstalling and reinstalling the app to try to fix but its like its constantly conflicting worh other bluetooth gear in the room im using it in
Non-functional
This will not connect your device to your phone. If and when your device does pair via Bluetooth you will need to keep restarting your phone and reinstalling the app.
Amazing App!
This app makes it super simple to control all my Lume Cube devices. I really love the color picking feature that allows you to match your lights to any object, so cool!
Super Easy
My tube light paired in seconds and I was fooling around in less than a minute. It’s nice you can pair through the app. Response time with my light is super fast too.
Easy Set up and Control
This app was so easy to pair with my tube light. Opened the app, turned on my light, hit pair and done in a couple seconds. The controls are really easy to use and I’m able to change the settings immediately to what I want on the light. Awesome!!!

This was so easy to setup and instantly brought the perfect light to my videos and pictures. It’s just what I needed without the hassle of all the setup of traditional lighting.

This app works great! It delivers the functionality I need in an easy to use package. Love being able to control my lights easily from a distance, individually or in custom groups. The photo color picker is awesome! 5-stars! Great work Lume Cube!!
