Coming back to Lumen now works the way it should. Reinstalling, or setting up a new phone? Onboarding asks one question up front: are you new here, or have you used Lumen before? Say you have been here before and your history returns on its own. No setup wizard, and no risk of accidentally starting a second chapter alongside the one you already have. When there is nothing to bring back, Lumen tells you in a second or two instead of leaving you with a spinner. Signed out of iCloud, or your history saved under a different Apple ID? You will be told exactly that, and what to do next. Restoring a subscription is clearer too. If a restore comes back empty, Lumen now explains the likely reasons instead of leaving you at a dead end. Your history stays where it always has been: in your private iCloud, end-to-end encrypted, readable by you alone.
