Mixed Feelings
After seeing an ad on Instagram, I grew curious and wanted to test out light meditation for myself. Upon the first minute or so, I felt pretty dissatisfied and thought this was a waste of time until the next thing I remember was waking up completely refreshed. I had been suffering from vivid nightmares for years and this was one of the only methods I found to completely set my brain at ease when sleeping. While I am quite appreciative of Lumenate, I am still unsure if it’s worth paying nearly $15 a month for. I wouldn’t hesitate to subscribe if it was a one time purchase or maybe even $8 a month, but I don’t think I can justify the high price point when it really is just flashing lights. However, I can still vouch for the restorative process of the Lumenate app and fully recommend it to anyone. Just be wary of the price.

Don’t trust the free trial!
Signed up for free trial to try it out. Unfortunately, I never received a notification that it was renewing and I immediately canceled.
The app is fine, but not what was expected but the subscription management is truly a mess. Now I’m out an annual license for an app that I won’t utilize.

Subscription
Wish it was free honestly but I do see why there is a monthly payment for an app like this so I’ll stick to the free trial for now but definitely an awesome experience for the time
Not free
It’s not accurate to sponsor this as a "free" app if you only get one free week then have to pay 40 dollars
I love it so far!
Can’t wait for what’s left to come out of each session. It’s neat
Waste of time
Really? I saw this on instagram and thought it would be a cool thing to try before going to sleep. Sadly it is a huge money grab made from AI slop. It seems ridiculous I should have to SUBSCRIBE to pay monthly before even trying it.
What’s most ridiculous is that, upon loading the app, you get spammed with questions like “where did you hear about this?” It’s clearly more focused on the statistics of advertisement so it can optimize profits. Don’t waste your time with this, and if you’re foolish enough to subscribe to this unoriginal AI slop I pity you.

Seriously?
It won’t even let me sign up I tried re downloading it a bunch of times but it still won’t let me sign up, there’s literally no point of having an app where you can’t even sign up like that doesn’t make any sense. Literally make it act better because apparently you don’t even know how to do your job.

Scam
Make sure you guys cancel subscription they will take $88 out of your bank
Horrible
This app makes me go through 10 minutes of instructions and warnings just to end up asking me to pay 20$ a monthto use the app. Why do they all that. Advertising it like its really free, just for it not to be.
New experiences
The app is very well put together, would like some new programmes that use hypnotherapy which I think people would benefit from
Colourful experience
Loving the beautiful colourful journey. If you are looking to escape reality for even just 10 minutes a day, this app is it. Gorgeous meditation break. I have ADD so I love the escapism
Horrible
Wouldn’t even let me sign up
Ridiculous
I’m not paying a subscription for you to turn my flashlight on and on in my face. Don’t buy into this Ponzi scheme it’s just a placebo effect.
Crazy
At first I was super skeptical then I did the first session and oh boy was I mistaken the type of feelings and visuals it created was insane but hard to explain more or less everyone’s experience is different definitely need to give this app a chance it’s wonderful and beautiful
Great app
Great
cost money
not paying 4 allat
Wow
Amazing
Does what it says
It seems to do what the ad said it did: caused visuals. It's not like watching your couch melt away like candle wax, but I eventually saw fractals. It's almost feels like flying through a tunnel of ever changing patterned light. The strobe seems to go with the music, causing a symphony of visual music, working together inn harmony. Gosh, I sounds like I'm being paid to write this😂 But I'm 50 and I've known about this since I was a kid. My dad was an EEG tech, a test that prints out your brain waves ands he used to practice on us kids. In one part of the test they have you close your eyes while they put a much larger strobing light (approx. 7x3inches) in front of your eyes to see the brain reaction. I don't know what else it claims to do, but
t it's got that one covered.

Useless
The only thing this app seems to do is ask for more money. The actual headset is really cool but the app won’t link to the subscription I already bought.
Not for me
I gave this a try as I was sceptical and thought why not test. First time trying my eyes just hurt and I had a headache for the next 24 hours. Didn’t feel relaxed at all in fact couldn’t sleep most of the night. No proven benefits of this flashing light therapy either. Plus LED lights are known to be bad for your health. Stay away. Use meditation instead.
