Gave me the worst headache I’ve ever had.
It uses your flashlight on your phone to give you a headache. Tons of disclaimers which I don’t think you should ignore.
Overall
Starts a bit bewildering as it’s like something you’ve not done before but after a few sessions you begin to enjoy it more. Only day 3 but hopeful it will improve more as the more sessions I do. Worth a try as it’s different to other apps.

This is nothing short of magic ! Wow … this help me travel to other dimensions and remember things that cannot be expressed by words. Deserve 6 stars !

Absolutely incredible. I love this app. HIGHLY recommend. I saw images and I also saw different colors. I mean there were times where it felt as if my eyes were open but they weren’t.

The only thing that consistently works at night to help me ground myself to fall asleep!
Good but expensive
I have used the 7day free and now want £9.99 a month or £59.99 for the year. I am weighing up the pro & cons of this. I see that they also sell a Bluetooth mask at £99.
However I believe that the mask is only usable for this app and not a Bluetooth device to use with other sleeping sounds. Also I have read some negative reviews saying that you pay for mask but this does not include membership to use the app. Unsure what to do. As I used it for the 7 days I think it’s improved as my core sleep was over an hour but now dropped again

Lumenate is now doing a Beta test for an AI guide, which 1) doesn’t really seem necessary for the content that Lumenate provides. And 2) takes money from actual humans crating music. Instead of going to AI to “search for the perfect thing” stop and put the money you are giving to OpenAI / ChatGPT into some real sound artists or mixes like the John Lennon one. IF you are dead set on using an AI “guide”, consider changing to Claude or do a look into companies who are doing the most good for your subscribers, and not OpenAI’s unsecured models

Absolutely love it
I really enjoyed the app when I first discovered it, but only used occasionally due to having to physically hold my phone near my face (not always an opportunity to blast a strobe light out in the open).
However, my wife surprised me with the Nova mask for Christmas and I immediately enjoyed the benefit that came with it. Hands free, zero light leak, comfy mask, Fast and effortless bluetooth connection, quick and easy control to turn on and off, adjust intensity. It pretty much removed any and all inconvenience with using the app at any time.
I'm now nearing 1000 minutes from use in the last 7 months and haven't slowed down, still using it several times a week as a fall asleep aid or to do some internal 'me' work in combination with ketamine nasal spray (microdose).

To developer: would love to have some new experience options added to the library semi-regularly ;)

Letting go
I have found that there are multi levels of absorption in this psychedelic meditation that Lumenate produces. There are certain pulse frequencies that encourage deeper emersion and it’s a matter of letting go and allow the visions to develop naturally and not to force a meaning on to the scene that you perceive to appear from the light show.

Cancelled and still charged
I canceled my subscription and yet I was still charged 11 days later. I am LIVID this is fraud and I expect a full refund!!!!

I found this over instagram claiming that this can make you hallucinate and it really does do that I’ve tried it once already and it made me see patterns shapes and trippy things it’s worth a week trial to see if you like it
