NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE

I don’t see the appeal of flashing lights whilst trying to sleep

Limited Library. No real soundtrack mode.

Library is too limited, even with the premium subscription. 6th mind has more. I have the Nova and like it. But, the limited library really makes it overpriced. The “your own soundtrack” mode doesn’t at all respond or interact with music, it just flashes its own pattern, and Kitty at Lumenate confirmed that. It does help me fall asleep. But it is slim pickings for programs and gets old fast.

Overpriced

The app is good but it is pretty overpriced and they don’t let you get a free try before paying

🤩🥲🤯 oh the colors you’ll see

Absolutely love it. I use it often for everything from helping me fall asleep at night, putting me in a better mood, making me feel more centered and grounded and under my own control.

I whole heartedly recommend this app and the Nova mask.

Also use this during psychedelic therapy sessions and it’s insane with

A wonderful tool

I love this app so much! It is very refreshing and relaxing to me. I use it at bedtime to settle into sleep. I also use it during the day to relax and refocus for the rest of my day. Using the phone’s camera for the lights is doable and works fine. I spent the extra money for the eye mask and I love it! Now I don’t worry about the phone falling over and can fully focus on my session.

The fix I have been looking for so long!

Got an ad on Youtube with Rhett and Link. I thought it was Ai so I looked it up and sure enough it was real, I watched the video as they went through the spinning column, the app and the weird iPod thing and i was very skeptical. As much as I hate subscription services, I can firmly say that this is 100% worth it for me. I have taken a THC gummy once a month to help with my depression and anxiety revolving past mistakes that keep me up at night crying, and while this does not give you the physical sensation, the mental sensation was tied neck and neck in terms of calming me down. I have officially, as of this moment, quit taking THC and I am going using this app every night. I am very interested on purchasing the Nova Mask they sell. If you’re skeptical, try the free week. I never write reviews for anything I purchase, but nothing in my life has made me feel so strongly to voice support for a product.

Gave me severe anxiety and do not recommend for anyone that has PTSD. Not a good experience at all.

Can't try before subscribing

I was guided by the app through all the steps to prepare for my first experience, including finding a relaxing quiet place and then at the 11th hour just before the first experience you have to subscribe and my Apple password has changed and I can't remember what it is without going to check my laptop...

So a complete waste of my time preparing, so I just deleted the app.

These kind of apps annoy me. If you're confident with what you're selling, just let the user have a 1-2 days test before forcing them to subscribe.

You would have WAY more subscriptions this way, assuming your service is good.

I was genuinely interested... but being forced to subscribe for the 1 week free trial and then having to remember to cancel (to avoid being charged) if it's not for me is annoying, and I often forget due to living a busy life with kids.

Just give people the free trial without sign up

??!

i had high hopes when i saw an ad for this i even looked at reviews and comments and saw nothing negative so i downloaded it, went through the intoduction just for it to make me pay for my first experience.. i know this can be common but i really had high hopes and just felt like i got let down especially for what this app is used for.

Highly recommend

If you’re someone who’s just getting into meditating, or is looking for expensive ways to step out of your normal meditative practices, this is for you. I love the 15-30 minute guided sessions, but I love that the 10 minute meditations also give me the opportunity to focus within for a moment.

Bad

Can’t even make an acc 😂

This thing made me dissociate

Be very careful I’ve been dissociating for the past 4 days because of this app ! If anybody at lumenate could reach out to me with a solution please

Way better then I expected

Honestly I didn’t have much hope in this but actually kinda works well, anytime I use this, I don’t remember falling asleep fast all I remember is not being awake long after I have shut my eyes and the effects begin, and I find I don’t usually wake up either anytime at night. Also using the voice of Rosamund pike is a great touch as she plays a great role in wheel of time. Definitely 5/5 I would definitely give this a chance even for people that don’t think it works, you’ll be pleasantly surprised I think

Another subscription con

Another app advertised on social media which promises the world, harvests data in the form of a questionnaire then slaps you in the face with a mandatory subscription once you’ve given them your information. Don’t bother.

Pay wall trap

Makes you sign up and go through a million hoops just to throw up a pay wall at the very end. Didn’t even get a chance to try one before payment info was required.

Free trial false

How is it a free 7 day trial when you try to take the money out before hand? As soon as I select start free trial it didn't take like an amount to verify the card it took the purchase amount! It's stated it would charge me when the 7days was up and that's not what happened! False advertising, very misleading. Without actually paying for the service you don't get any further in the app. Thing is I would've paid for it after I seen if it worked!

Real person here

This actually works. I was skeptical. I have insomnia and I tried this to help me drift into sleep easier. Not only did it help with that, but it made me sleep longer and deeper. Still only on day three, but I’ll keep using it

Very cool

So fascinating - I just tried 3 sessions back to back. It’s surprisingly powerful. I wanna keep going!

Slop all around

Another “free” app that requires a monthly subscription to use any features. Once the subscription is paid you will unlock a whole bunch of bologna that will never and has never helped anyone. Stupid app, 2 stars is overly generous.

Addicted! I LOVE this App

I’ve never done anything like this. I’ve struggled with meditation because my thoughts distract me but this app helps me relax and the beautiful kaleidoscope of colours keeps my thoughts at bay. I sleep better when I do it before bed and I have fun with it. Initially I was just going to do the trial and cancel but I loved it so much I’m here to stay 🙏🏼
