The “Tides” of the Year Everywhere
I have been using LunaSolCal for many years now. It fits perfectly into my life of writing letters all over the world to people in all climes. I love to compare their longest days, longest nights, the Moon’s rising and setting, the length of days, you name it!
This program allows me to do that, to the second, something most websites do not provide. My Asperger’s brain loves details, another way in which this is perfect. It’s science in a neat package and I can find any location my friends live.
When I have questions, the designer takes time to help me, and invaluable help. I very much appreciate that. (My apologies for when I thought daylight saving time was made permanent — that was me, entirely. I keep hoping the powers that were (are?) will jump the United States an hour ahead, stop this nonsense of moving time — I really need the missing Sun in the winter, here in New Jersey…!)
If you love science, the dance of the Moon, Sun, when different events of the normal day take place, then you will adore this! LunaSolCal takes all of these tidbits into a beautiful app that will give you all of that information. It also has been developed for iPhone, iPad and MacBook!

One of my all time favourite go to apps
I purchased this app back in 2010 for my Samsung Galaxy tab 10”. In that time I switched over to iOS and I’ve always kept this app on my phone and iPad ever since. That’s 14 years plus on iOS. I really appreciate that the developer still maintains this app and still gives it regular update. For people who were obsessed with sun/moon rise/set times from all over. You must get this app.

BUMP-- A DEVELOPER RESPONSE WOULD BE NICE..... I’ve been using this app for years, but I went to install it on another device of mine only to discover it wanted money. I am not complaining about a service costing money, but I don’t want to re-buy something I already own. How can I know if I already paid for this in the past and should look to see if my current settings are wrong to get it to acknowledge that previous purchase?

Seit Jahren meine Haupt-App wenn es um die Position von Sonne und Mond geht. Für mich als Fotofan von Sonnenauf- und Sonnenuntergang ein unverzichtbares Zool bei der Standortwahl, aber auch der virbereitenden Kameraausrichtung für Aufnahmen.

Très bien.
Encore mieux si possibilité d’obtenir d’avantage de réglages dans les paramètres accessibles à l’utilisateur.
Dans une prochaine amélioration, j’aimerais pouvoir masquer une partie des informations pour ne retenir uniquement sur une seule page que celles que je regarde tous les jours. Par exemple:

Die Zeit stimmt nicht.
Die Zeit stimmt nicht mit der Tatsächlichen Zeit in den Land Überein das gesucht wird Überein. In New York USA ist um 14:00 Uhr Sonnenaufgang. Das kann nicht stimmen und sollte dringend korrigiert werden. (Wenn auf der Karte gesucht wird.) Bei tatsächlicher Eingabe des Ortes stimmt die Zeit. Wenn auf der Karte der Ort gesucht wird, dann stimmt die Zeit nicht und das sollte korrigiert werden. Bei schriftlicher Eingabe des Ortes in der Suchleiste stimmt die Zeit. Aber nur bei Bestätigung des Standortes
