Stupid

What kind of auto payment makes you type the amount you would like to pay and then when they charge you, they just charge what's on the invoice? Then why put an option to put in the amount?

Congratulations! Your landlords do not care about you.

If you are being forced to download this app to get in your building, congratulations! You are about to be frustrated beyond belief every time you try to get into your building. App consistently does not work and traps people outside. Management tells you to use the call box to call someone to let you in, but no one ever ever ever answers. Do not take your dog for a walk when it snows because you will be stuck outside. And my building, where my lease guarantees is 24 hour Front Desk assistance, frequently does not have that. So there’s no one to let you in. if you complain to the management, they blame your phone.

Minimally viable product

The latest update has utterly
Broken the ability of some residents to report maintenance requests. When you attempt to type in the “briefly describe” field, there’s no ability to do so. Venn City is an unresponsive and unaccountable entity. Emails
Will be ignored. And with this extremely basic app, I’m not sure how they ever secured a single contract. Events were substantially better when Mac marketing conducted them. A cornerstone promise of Venn City partnering with Mac was that element of things. Venn City’s events are uninspiring, low
Energy, and devoid of imagination. I think Mac has suffered reputational
Harm as a result of their partnership with Venn City.

This app has more problems than anything I’ve ever dealt with.

Terrible App

Zero stars. App works intermittently. Complained to resident services and Venn to no response. It's glitchy. I have to turn off my phone or delete app and reinstall for it to work.

Not working for most of time

Why

Can’t I save my payment info? Makes no sense. That entire account ledger makes no sense. It only shows you an itemized detail of what you’re be charged for AFTER you pay it. What a joke!

Terrible just like Mac Properties

Almost comical (if not so infuriating) that so much of this app does not work. Why do my keys keep disappearing? Why can I not use Bluetooth for my keys with this app as promised?

Payment errors, not user friendly, forced usage

When the app is working I would rate it 3.5 stars. However, lately I have run into errors when trying to process rent payments.Also I noticed the moderators delete resident comments and questions to avoid other residents from realizing they are having similar issues. It is a “fixed” community app that limits its productivity and transparency.
For example if I just ask the community “hey guys anyone else having trouble submitting their rent payment.” And residents respond with confirmation they are as well and for days with no solution then their comments are deleted. It’s kind of frustrating also to be forced to use the app since everything from work orders to payments, to management requests go through the app now. I miss when MAC had building managers that knew the tenants, gave personable and relevant updates, and was easy to contact if you needed help.

Great… if it would work

There’s a 25% chance when you open your keys section for it to not have any keys available. It says you don’t have any keys, and that’s if pressing the button work at all. On top of that, one of the recent updates made it so I can’t get into my apartment with just the Mac Properties app open on my phone, now I have to go in and manually press the button to make it work.

Not only that, but on my iPhone, you can’t select “Pay with Check” because there’s a dumb pop up in the way. No matter how I finagle the screen, I can’t click on that option.

The packages updates never show up on time, if at all. They appear months later, are never updated on whether or not I grabbed the package, and never send me notifications despite me turning them on.

Submitting service requests is really the only thing keeping me from giving it a 1 star. I do like submitting service requests through the app.

app does not work

i don’t know if this is related to the most recent update, but i can’t get this app to even load past the blue startup page, and if it does, i get an invalid error every time i try to log in.

Would be better if Apple Pay is supported

The overall use of the app is great. It’s also easy to fill out the work order form. However, the lack of Apple Pay makes paying the rent more of a hassle. I would gave 5 stars if Apple Pay could be incorporated!!!

Application Errors

Tenants were forced to adopt an application that does not register your correct address or allow you to use any of the payment options. The response time to email requests are abysmal and non-intuitive.

Greatest app of all time

All the events are 10/10. The interface is impeccable.
