Problematic..
After starting my accounts, here and then acquiring an auto loan and then paying that off within a year, I keep having bizarre problems with this credit union. First of all I closed bank accounts so I could transfer the money to MAC, those banks closed my accounts and sent me checks for the money. MAC refused to deposit my checks into my account because they were claiming that they were fraudulent. These were checks from big-name banks. Somebody not wearing their thinking cap at MAC. Next, I went to deposit a check online and whenever I attempted to do so it came up, saying I do not have an account that will allow this. I had to go into the bank and show it to them and they said well it shows side so I said well you’re going to have to fix it. They eventually did, but it was annoying as heck lastly why my account is throttled to transferring only $1000 per day to other banks. I have a nearly 800 credit score that is all.

No title after loan payoff
I was told 7-10 business days I would receive vehicle title to truck payoff. Multiple messages and phone calls re-assuring me that title is in the mail, was mailed, still no title! Payed off truck 23 days ago. Also made a deposit in coop bank, CASHIERS CHECK, MACFCU held check for 10 days even after I sent images of CASHIERS CHECK deposit. Will close my account asap. Worst experience I ever had with a financial institution. This is just recent issues. Avoid banking with MACFCU

Wont Open
Since the most recent update, the app will not open. It always says I have no connection. All phone settings are enabled as needed, just the app WILL NOT open at all.

MAC Federal is honestly the most personable bank I have ever used! I usually know who I am talking to on the phone, ALWAYS greeted with a smile in the 10th Fairbanks, AK branch and always treated like a person they know not a customer!

This app is one of the most convenient and easy to use apps I’ve ever used. If I do have to go into the credit union, the staff and service is excellent.
Greedy
$9.95 to make a online payment is wild. I’ve never seen anything like this. The pay portal tells you to use the APP TO AVOID THIS FEE BUT THERES NO OPTION TO MAKE A PAYMENT IN THE APP! I’ll be coming in and making payments in 1 dollar bills from now on.
Recent update
App no longer works with my iphone. Says it requires ios 16 minimum, but my phone is up to date at ios 15.8, and it won’t let me continue to use the previous app version. I don’t want to buy a new phone just to use an app.

Worthless App
Set up account and received the wheel of death while inputting username and password. Asked Mac if they had any suggestions to correct problem. They flatly refused to provide any assistance.

The old app was allot simpler to look at this new one will take some getting used too although I do like how the transactions pull up on the main menu section.
