Honestly lots of fun to play with friends to pass the time! Never seems like it’s gonna be much but can and will get unhinged FAST! There’s a few drawbacks in that sometime the app bugs out when you leave the app for a text or sumn but that’s forgiiveable!
Disappointment
As of 5/8/2026, one of my books was removed and all my previous records of completed madlibs were removed. I had some from years ago that I loved to look back on as they brought me many good memories. The Game Center also pops up every 5 seconds and annoys me every time I try to use the app. Extremely disappointed in the direction this app seems to be going, I hope maybe they can fix it, as the “restore purchases” button only tells me that I can’t download anything.

Bugged with latest Mac iOS
As of 2/5/2026 the current Mad Libs app is bugged. It used to work just fine but now when you try to use it, it keeps opening the apple gaming achievements menu nonstop making the app unusable. Looking forwards to this getting fixed as Mad Libs was a favorite activity in my classroom.

Love it, except
Great fun game for practicing English skills. One problem, there is no back button, which is incredibly frustrating when you accidentally bump to go to the next page and weren’t finished typing. And it’s incredibly easy to accidentally go to the next page. This has actually caused tears in my household on more than one occasion because he worked so hard on his story and insists on starting over again and again to redo it. Please add a back button!!!!! 🙏🙏

Glitchy and useless
Competed my first set of words and the app shut off randomly. Tried to go back in and find my competed story and I never could figure out how to access it. What a disappointment.
