This app helped me solve my problem
One of my watches was gaining a fairly good amount of time randomly one morning after traveling for work. To rule out whether I needed to have service performed, I wanted to first check for magnetization.
The easy steps provided in the app worked great.
I determined my watch was magnetized, bought a demagnetizer, verified it was no longer charged on the app after demagnetizing, and now the watch is back to running at -1/-1.5 seconds per day.
Highly recommend this for its simplicity. Straight up helpful and a good product.

I think this may be the perfect app for detecting magnetism is watches. The fact that it can be calibrated for accuracy makes it a slam dunk.
If you understand that almost all ferrous metals contain some level of magnetism, due to the magnetic domains in the metal, then you understand why this app is so powerful.

Very Useful - Works Great
Really canβt understand some of the negative reviews on this App.
Was concerned that my watch had become magnetised and after learning of this App dowloaded it.
It indicated that the watch was magnetised so used a demagnetiser you can buy quite cheaply on the Internet.
In checking the watch again the App showed it was no longer magnetised.
Have subsequently tested it with other metal items and this App really does work.
Highly recommended for all those who wear mechanical watches.
