Update sucks
This was a great product. New updates, now it doesn’t focus close up. Double tap freezes pic, can’t go back. Wish I had not updated, I lost a great app. :(
Won’t work on 16 Pro
i used this 5 years on iPhone 11 Pro but i switched to iPhone 16 Pro and it’s out of focus.
This is supposed to be the ad free version that costs money but it doesn’t work on 16 Pro.

I occasionally need my glasses when I have forgotten to bring them with me. This app has been a lifesaver for me. Don’t leave home without it!
Use daily
I'm a sharpener for the hair industry and have about 38,000 pictures on my phone. This app is probably used on a majority of them (maybe 10 years with zero problem). Easy to use also. The only thing missing is video with this close-up resolution.
The pictures use very little data versus the standard camera on a phone, which is megabytes, making it easier to send them and post.
This app has been irreplaceable and with an added macro lens, there's not much that can hide. It's also fantastic for splinters.
Lots of positive comments about the good pictures on Instagram taken with it.
I'm very happy with it and will continue to use it. Thank you so much..

I’ve used this magnifying app for years and still really like its functionality and ease of use.
Very helpful app
I’ve used this app at work numerous time with perfect results. I work in a chemical lab on graveyard shift and my supervisor is never there because he works days but if I have an issue and need his help, all I do is use this app and take nice closeup pics of what I’m talking about and he knows exactly what I’m asking without even being there. I would never be able to do that with the regular camera on my phone. Well done. But would it be possible to allow us to choose which side of the screen to have the camera button on. I’m right handed and have something in my left hand to take a pic of and it’s very difficult to hold the phone and take a picture.

Works as advertised and more as it comes into play every time need.
Great for client photos
I am an esthetician and love this app for taking pre and post client photos for my records. I can zoom in and highlight problem areas easily allowing me to review treatment results.
I would be lost without it

Love love love this app. I was very nearsighted, 20/200. I was legally blind. Saved my money around 20 yrs ago for lasik surgery. One of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. Only fault I found with the lasik surgery is that it took away some of my ability to see little things up close. I’ve been using this app several years now and it does the job nicely. If I could find a handheld mirror that lit up this good for plucking my eyebrows I wouldn’t have much to complain about!!! Thank you for a truly useful and much used app!!!!

This app is a non-app because it is EXACTLY the same as my camera that I already had! Total scam!

Forced to buy the pro version
Ads by Google blocked the controls for the free version, which worked fine. I couldn’t stop the ads, so I paid the silly $1.99 for this version.
Love it but a suggestion.
Use it all the time. Has saved me so many times. Would you consider making an option in the settings to flip the controls. I find most the time I’m using it one handed so I can use the other hand to hold what I’m imaging. Since I’m right handed I have to reach across the phone to press the shutter button. And that slight stretch always makes the phone shake. If I could move the shutter to the right side I’d be ecstatic!

Not getting back with me
I have both 3.5 versions and 3.8.1 on my iPhone.
I upgraded to the pro but instead of updating my 3.8.1 app it updated the 3.5 app.
I have tried twice to get this corrected through email and no one has got back with me and I don’t know why. This should be an easy fix???

Most useful app ever
I use this in restaurants and for checking coins with my grandson.
I also use it when checking my crochet patterns since print seems to be getting smaller these days.

I love this app
I’m older and can’t see close up very well. This app allows me to magnify using a bright light to a much greater magnification than a magnifying glass. Love it.
