Bad

There are numerous problems: frequent downtime, security issues, an inconvenient app, a daily limit on outgoing emails, restrictions on storing older emails, and a very low attachment size limit.

In short, there are countless limitations unless you pay for the premium plan, yet even then, stability is poor, with frequent outages that make it impossible to access the account via browser or app. I’ve been using their service for many years, as an early adopter, but it has steadily declined.

The increasing restrictions and ongoing stability issues have finally made me consider switching to a different email provider, before the service becomes completely unusable without paying extra.

Absolute Junk!!!

I signed up for an account some time ago now as I wanted a simple, unique uk email address. But, I wasn’t sure about this mail provider. It all looked a little amateur. But I wanted the mail.co.uk tag. After signing up it wasn’t long until I discovered I couldn’t add the email account to my native app on my iPhone, without paying for a subscription. So I bought that and it pretty much hasn’t really worked. Still wasn’t able to add it and as a result just never used the account again. Today I discover ‘Your account is in arrears. Please add credit so that you are able to log in again’. £12 arrears. As far as I knew, it was a yearly subscription that I could opt out of whenever I wanted, which I did do, immediately afterwards. I don’t like Auto Renewal, so I cancelled it immediately after paying. I only wanted to try the app out and thought I’ll give it a year, see how it goes. It strikes me as a fake email provider just scamming people out of money. They better not think that as each year goes by I’m just going to continue to be expected to pay £12 and the arrears mounts. To the Company owner: I do not permit you to continue to charge me for this account. Please close it with immediate effect!
