Broken app
Nothing works I don't understand how it's usable to the people giving it positive ratings there is literally nothing good to say that everything about it just doesn't work and is broken. I can't even store my card info to pay for points. They don't even want my money. It's impossible to load the card.

I love main event, but the app is absolutely terrible.
Fix the name settings
Whenever I change my first and last name to the right place and I close my tab and reopen it, it doesn’t save.
Where’s the shoe size option?!?
The layout of the app is nice and all, but, like most users I’m getting a lot of errors. The one I’m most upset about is the “Server Error 400”.
Im just trying to swap my first and last name around and I get a pop up saying that “Shoe Size” cannot be empty.
Can you guys please fix this? It’s really bugging me not being able to change my profile.

App is slow
This app dosent work well it bugs a lot i’ve tried to reload my Fun card and I wasn’t allowing me to add a payment method.

Don’t bother. Zero stars.
Why have an app when it doesn’t work? Pages jump before you can even create an account completely, spent over an hour with this trying to get everything to work properly. Waste of time.
Christmas Gift
We finally had a day we could take my grandchildren for a day of fun. We had purchased $50 gift cards and received a $10 reward card but it expired a month after Christmas. Not good when it involved kids and we were not told at time of purchase. I am really disappointed as my grandchildren love it. We went on 1/31/26 at around 1pm. We took the gift cards they received for Christmas and $10 was denied because we were told that it expired. When we bought the gift cards before Christmas we were not told they would expire so short a time after Christmas. Also when trying to get drinks the guy at the bar was horrible. Took our order and said he had to get them I. The back to make it. Then after 5-10 minutes comes back and asked what was ordered. Not a good experience all around. We have spent a lot of money in this establishment and at this point not looking to come back.

Not user friendly
Always have problems logging in and always end up not even messing with it. Thought I’d try again. It’s frustrating because I want to take advantage of all the promotions but haven’t been able to since we’ve been going for almost a year.
Bowling
High cost. $36 an hour for alley rental and then $4.95 to rent shoes. Bowling alley continually had problems which I had to go get help to resolve. We had to change alleys and had problems with that one also. I was told that they would give me additional time, which didn’t happen. I will never go there for anything again.

“Bugs” “Fixed”??? Where?
The same issues for the past few years, and the same generic response from the app developer for every single review stating the exact same issues. Although they continue to post “updates” to the app, NOTHING of importance to customers has been fixed, and not a thing that has been complained about for YEARS has changed. The app doesn’t work properly, cards can’t be reloaded, and bugs GALORE. Not the brightest app developers. If Main Event were smart, and cared about their customers, they’d have fired the current developers and hired competent ones. Customer Service actually matters, regardless what a company may think in this backwards world. Waiting for my generic response now…

I have never had an issue with this app until recently. Now it keeps coming up with an error message. LOADCURRENTUSERERROR: Some required data is missing and cannot be located etc etc. you’d think a developer would have the brains to create AND maintain a working app. Especially when there are features not available on the website that are only available in the app. Fix your trash app!

Errors Abound
I love the idea of the app, but I’ve had nothing but errors since I created my account on it. The main issue I have is trying to load fun cards. I get multiple errors about the credit card not working - even though it worked for previous purchases so I know the details are correct and the credit card company isn’t blocking the purchase. Very frustrating.

If I could give negative stars I would
If you plan on using the app to reload fun cards, don’t bother trying. It doesn’t recognize states for payment accounts, doesn’t allow you to type in more than one letter in the description box to send in a report ticket for app issues. Additionally, the food menu is a dead button, and if you try to set up reservations for activities, the app crashes. From a parents perspective, this app is truly a nightmare if you plan on having your teens go to a fun pass day. The app alone makes it not worth the aggravation it causes to go to the venue. Ruins the experience.
