Pretty good!
My hat’s off to Major Cineplex for releasing a decent international version of their app. I’m used to half-functional versions of most apps that are for businesses in Southeast Asia, so I’m calling this a win.

I have booked so many movies from the app for myself and friends. The QR code issuance and payments always work. The interface is seamless and beautiful. One of the best apps in Thailand. Well done!
Contact us doesn’t work
The incompetence continues unabated. This app is appalling. The latest version is supposed to add/ improve the contact us functionality, but it remains completely broken.

App crashes after iOS 18.x update
The app starts to load then crashes. Problem started after iOS 18 update. Two app updates were released after iOS 18 update but failed to fix the issue.
Can’t use Canadian phone number.
I can’t use a Canadian phone number on this app and this app is available in Canada from some reason idk.
Appalling
This app is appalling from start to finish. The developers should be ashamed of themselves. It opens with an advertisement, forgets my favorites cinemas ALL THE TIME and requires a phone number to book tickets (even if they are fully paid for). An abomination.
Easy to use, but…
I live the app and use it when I can. It’s easy to pay and having the tickets on my phone simplifies everything.
My only complaint is that I am unable to book the ultra seating at either of the two cinemas in Chiang Mai. For example, today I had to book in person for the ultra seating in theatre 7 at Central Airport Chiang Mai cinema as although they are showing in the application there is no way to select them. This applies whether I use my iPhone or iPad so it’s definitely an application issue. If you could fix that I would give 5 stars as everything else is perfect.

Seems like they have fixed the login issues and the issues that were in the previous comments. I just hope they quality control before they release future versions.

Why bother releasing an app that does not work? Just like every other comment, you can check movie times, but you cannot even create an account.

This app used to be okay, but now it is buggy and requires a phone number to book tickets.
This is unacceptable since the tickets are already paid for. Why do you need my phone number?

Does not keep your email safe!
This app either sells your email address to marketers or has unsafe data retention. I use a unique email address for every account I sign up for. The email address I used for this app receives spam and phishing messages. The only way for them to get that (randomly generated) email address is for this company to sell it to them, or hackers stole it (and probably everyone else’s data from this company). Do not use your real email address when signing up!

It’s buggy, never remembers settings (even simple ones like favorite cinemas) and now requires your phone number in order to reserve a seat. NO THANKS. It is clear that the lunatics have taken over the asylum.
This is a project obviously being led by someone who has an inflated sense of their business acumen with no regard whatsoever for the needs of a human who actually wants to spend money watching a movie in the theater.
Fire that idiot. Please. In the meantime, I’ll be watching Netflix at home.

A nice app when it actually works
Title. To view and find cinemas and movies near you coming soon or to check out what’s on at the weekend it’s great. But I am trying to buy tickets and it logs me out every few minutes as well as telling me I have the wrong OTP (I don’t obviously) as well as saying it has internal errors when I try to purchase tickets. Please fix

Cannot book without phone number
This is absurd that you can no longer book a ticket without giving a phone number with this new version of the app. Utterly unnecessary and offensive.
