Well done Maka Kids
Beyond just being safe and vetted, I love that the app includes curated content that teaches real-life skills like making friends, managing big feelings, and taking care of yourself. There’s even a STEM channel, which is a great bonus.
It was easy to set up, intuitive to use, and genuinely fun to explore. Honestly, it’s the kind of app I wish I had when my kids were younger.
Highly recommend for parents looking for quality, meaningful screen time options.

I’m in the technology sector and spend a lot of professional time thinking about and working with algorithms. I know what the internet is serving out kids and it is not pretty.
Maka Kids bypasses all of the mindless junk online and curates a true “best of” selection of top children’s television.
What really sets it apart is the intentional focus on kindness, empathy, and emotional intelligence. My kids are completely engaged, and I love knowing that every single minute of screen time is reinforcing positive social skills.
Maka Kids has officially transformed our daily routine. We still limit screen time, but we more flexibility with screen-time because we know Maka is keeping the kids happy, safe and learning.

The stories are fun and easy to understand, but they also encourage kids to think through problems and come up with solutions.
