It’s a scam. The app doesn’t work and they don’t honor the 30 day guarantee
I tried using the app and it was unusable. Some of what it was trying to teach was actually incorrect. So I contacted the support team (which is just an AI email response) since you can’t cancel the subscription through the app. I was told they couldn’t honor the 30 day guarantee and offered a 30% discount. I told them that was unacceptable, and they offered 50%. When I told them that was unacceptable and I wanted a full refund because of the 30 day guarantee, they “escalated my case” and I never heard back. This app is a scam and should be removed from the App Store.

Learning impeding AI avatars and buried policies
Before you complete the onboarding there are a million upsells that lock you into spending more and more and then when you finally land in the experience you’re expected to learn from really poorly done AI avatars attempting to look like realistic people that actually do more to distract than help focus on the language you’d like to learn. The refund policy for all of the upsells is not transparent and buried with the t&c so don’t sign up for anything but the basics because they don’t offer free trial and will deny you any refund if the experience does not meet your expectation, seven if you cancel the very same day after realizing that the experience is distracting and doesn’t support the ways in which you learn. Essentially, the app is a cash grab and poorly done. Just use Duolingo

If you want to upgrade to the lifetime subscription through the website, it will tell you that it’s unable to process it and charge you for the basic subscription. I like the setup of this app but the technicalities of the website and customer support is Terrible!!!!
Do not subscribe to this app
As soon as you pay for the app you have to work your way through multiple other pages (10? 15?, not sure I didn’t count, I was just trying to get to the page where I could start learning) where you are offered additional features that you need to pay extra for that will help you learn your chosen language. Ie what you actually bought is NOT sufficient for learning. This is basically seriously misleading marketing. I tried immediately to cancel and they refused to refund me. I feel incredibly cheated.

Scam! Glitchy and deceitful
Don’t fall for this app. I should have read the reviews before. The app is so glitchy and even speaking in English for pronunciation it will tell me great job when learning another language. The information is also wrong on the meaning and pronunciation of words. When I signed up it said 30 days satisfaction guarantee or a 100% refund. Not even 2 hours after I signed up I requested a refund because of how bad the app is and they refused. They kept offering me a discount of 50% and I insisted for my refund. Then they offer me a 30% refund! I insisted on my full refund. Then they said they can only offer a 50% refund! Then they said I have to wait 7 days for a full refund! They never did. I have to dispute it with my credit card and changed the number so I won’t be charged again by this scammers!!!!

Fraudulent Billing
The app itself is fine, nothing spectacular. The problem is when you sign up for a month and they put you in the subscription program and continue billing you until you notice and try to cancel and they not only won’t refund you but give you the run around on how to cancel. Do not download, do not pay them.

Scam App
Do not believe their policies of refund within 30 days. They refused to refund even after three days of this terribly programmed and nonfunctioning app. It’s built around AI and needs a lot of work to get it to be usable. They also continually try to upsell you when signing up. You think you’re getting the whole package when you make the first payment and then you realize that you have to buy a different additional upgrades in order to get what they advertise. And then whenever you do, what they advertise is not provided. It’s an AI run app that is barely functional.

Terrible app, tutor didn’t understand me which was deeply frustrating for a speaking app. Kept taking payments behind the scenes and responded with automatic lengthy reply within seconds of my complaint i.e. must have voluminous similar complaints. Avoid, avoid.

This app does nothing that they advertise. It’s very glitchy. The hypnosis section is the worst you have to keep reloading it which defeats the purpose. When you try to get a refund they feed you a line of BS and won’t refund your money.
Terrible AI
The AI tutors use an English based pronunciation of the words and you will not learn to sound like anything more than an entitled American who is trying to hard. Needs major improvements. I cancelled after my first lesson.

Horrible glitchy app. The hypnosis part that they are so heavily advertising is very limited and very basic. They present that it will finally make you fluent after you’ve tried everything else. It’s like eight short very basic lessons, and there’s no hypnotic induction. The guy just starts talking. Then there’s the ai tutor conversation practice. I thought, ok, that’s what I need. Wrong! It’s awful! It’s not conversational at all! It’s a robotic voice basically having you repeat phrases over and over. In short, the app was not useful to me at all, and despite their results or money back guarantee, they don’t honor refund requests. Duolingo or HyperLingua will teach you a lot more and no robotic stupid ai tutor.
