So Easy!

I used Mama Bear legal forms for all 4 of my kids when they left home. It gave me peace of mind (and them too) to know that if they were incapacitated, I could speak on their behalf. Their App is super easy to use, and I have the notarized documents stored on my phone if I ever need them. I’ve already used them at the DMV! Amazing!

SO ANNOYING

WHY can’t you scan the documents in separately?! It stopped scanning on the third doc and returned to the home screen, and wanted me to start over! What a horrible app. For shame.

Cannot upload, scan only

Cannot upload signed documents. We have to scan each page individually for multiple documents for multiple people for multiple states. This would take me hours to hand scan a couple hundred pages for my family. And if you skip a page seems like you have to start over.

Hate this App

While I love the Mama Bear product - this app is horrible. Once documents are signed, instructions are to separate the 4 different POA and scan them into the app. 4 times - the app glitched while I was uploading the third form. There is no way to upload that section only - the only option is to go back and upload all other sections as well. An absolute, waste of time with no forms uploaded in this app.

Worst App Ever

The website was OK, but I installed the app and try to use it and on multiple attempts. I spent a long time scanning all the documents and then it just said a failure at the end. The only failure is this app.

This app is garbage

Where is the scan button? Useless at this point.

Buggy, beware

First, it lost what I saved. Obviously I also scan the documents but what’s the point if app is going to lose? Also I bought forms for two kids and the app mixed up the documents, forms for one showed up under the other one:(

Easy, user-friendly

Mama Bear was recommended by loads of parents on the parent page for my son’s college. I was worried the process of obtaining young adult durable POA’s would be complicated, time-consuming. It was exactly the opposite! The website takes you through a questionnaire for the documents you need. The young adult durable POA’s was super fast…under 5 mins for me. Allows you to add a second state for free (I chose home state & state son attends college). You end up with four documents (or two sets for two states): Durable POA for Health Decisions, Durable POA for Financial Decisions, HIPPA, FERPA. Take the documents, signers, and ID to bank or city hall for notary to sign/stamp. Or call a notary and pay them to come to you! Finally, super simple, clean app scans/stores the docs for you and allows you to easily view or forward them via email, text, etc. Also, you can logon to your Mama Bear account online to make any changes/edits to the documents for a duration of time. It’s just really user-friendly…doesn’t try to do too much so it avoids being complicated. Highly recommend!

Great app

App worked great no hiccups. I even had a phone call in the middle of it loading the first section and didn’t slow it down at all.
