Quit w/ the updates!!

Owned for a year and has always worked fine, but the last few software updates have just ruined it. Mower is all over the place. Not following the set paths. Not even coming close to the edges. The way it turns has been changed. JUST LEAVE IT ALONE!! You’re not improving anything with these updates. Just making it worse and worse. Wish I could roll back the software to when it actually worked!!

Upgrades

So I just wait with upgrade until you fix everything….btw it’s expensive mower just fix the app…..

Junk

This worked great for a few weeks before the update. Now it’s more work to fix it than it is to just push mow the yard.

Update: another firmware update and the mower went 3 meters out of it’s path headed into the pool. It’s still junk.

Luba 2/3000H

I am in my third year of using this machine and I have had very little trouble with it occasionally it will have a hiccup, but I think most issues are user error not understanding the procedure something to that nature. I think it’s a good product and they continue to improve.

Terrible device support and customer service.

Their product support and customer service is awful. Their “tech team” takes weeks to analyze simple error messages, and they blame everything under the sun, but their device for clear device faults.

The machine is awesome when it works, tech support is absolutely terrible.

I do not recommend this company, this app, or their devices.

In App support

I have been impressed with the support I’ve received as a result of uploading logs through this app. The email communication has been very good.
The app itself is very easy to navigate and regular firmware updates constantly improve my mower.

Some thoughts…

These are my first impressions. There should be a feature in the app that lets me suggest improvements to the app. One such feature I’d like to see is the ability to set tasks differently for different scheduled areas rather than have universal settings for the entire lawn. I would like to be able to set different heights for different areas in my yard. BTW, instead of calling it a “task area”, call it a “zone”. I’ll update this review after I have used the robot more.

Bad updates bad customer service. Lies and shady behavior. Terrible app.

Expensive mower, terrible app experience

I own a LUBA 3 AWD and the app has been a constant source of frustration. Connection problems, the 2D map and camera/FPS view not working reliably, glitches during operation, and updates that seem to introduce new problems instead of fixing existing ones.

I’ve spent months reporting issues, sending logs, screenshots, photos, and videos. The communication between support and the technical team is also terrible. I recently explained my problems in detail, only to be told to update to a firmware version I was already running.

For a mower that costs thousands of dollars, the app should be polished and reliable. Instead, customers are constantly troubleshooting, waiting for responses, and hoping the next update doesn’t make something else worse.

The technology has potential, but the software experience is nowhere near where it needs to be.

Mammotion needs to stop treating paying customers like beta testers and seriously improve this app.

2GB of Logs

Haha you need to clear logs periodically. Come on guys

Great mower bad app

Recent app update causing more issues. Map doesn’t load and can no longer see setting for path overlap (no longer shows how much overlap there is).

Works 30% of the time

Unfortunately the software only works sometimes which means you can’t do much with $3k mower.

Not intuitive

The app has numerous options for control of the mower but they are grouped in a non-intuitive manner which means that you have to randomly open various screens to find the function you are looking for. Take a look at the app for Tesla cars as an example of intuitive design.

I wouldn’t purchase a Mammotion product. The app has a lot of bugs and times can be very frustratin

The Mimotion Luba 2 app used to work great last season, but the recent updates this season have made it really frustrating. It constantly loses connection to the mower on both my iPad and iPhone. There’s an annoying icon blocking the battery and signal indicators, and the screen doesn’t center properly when you return to the main view. Another issue is if your iPad goes to sleep, reopening the app won’t reconnect — you have to completely close and restart the app to regain connection with the mower. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t buy the Luba 2 again, and I considered buying the Luba 3, but because of all the app problems, I won’t. Needs serious fixes. adding to my original review do not buy the Luba. The app just gets worse and worse with every update. Impossible to connect to my mower sometimes I spend 15 or 20 minutes, just trying to connect and order to have cut my yard

New Update

The nee update locked the yuba

Love it, but most recent update gives 1217 code

Somehow, it’s now saying that my front bumper is being activated when it is clearly not being activated

Need’s some SW Updates

Have done very latest update today and zero turn option now fixed. However this version and the last one are causing the robot to fail to return home. I have tried remapping and creating new channel. I have even tried creating no stop zones and every time it just stops in a clear area.
If I cancel recharge and manually move the robot 10cm and then hit return it works without issue. The return to charge issue was happening from the previous update. Nothing has changed to the recharge location station and all the signal bits are fine.
Looks like fixed an issue created a new one.
PLEASE CAN YOU SORT.

Would have been nice to have been informed that latest update has removed turn option and now zero turn is only option which absolutely kills the lawn..
Just hope next version fixes and also we get no stop on paths.
Please have an option to switch on side lights in operation… absolutely no clue why when switched they stay on even when docked…

Looking at the latest map updates ours does not show. Assume model specific. During mow you can just about see the cutting routes whereas previous it was very clear

Luba Mini AWD 1500. Constantly experiencing stops on route to lawn. I thought the ‘no stop’ function would fix this and yes to a point it has. I’ve now hit limit on no stop zones which is really annoying when the robot stops in one of the sections missed that is normally not a problem. To me the best solution would be to either draw the no stop route or even simpler to be able to make the path between lawns automatically a no stop area. Seems crazy the way it works. Actually like the new option to now cut around no go zones. Missed the change and like other reviewer really couldn’t understand why the area was not being cut. One option to cut selected problem solved. Every update seems to sort some problems and cause others..

Do not buy

The mower barely worked before. Now with multi point turn gone don’t even bother.

Bad software engineers

Their updates tend to be worse than the last. They don’t listen too or take suggestions on how to improve software and operation. The last couple of updates have made the mower almost unusable.

Mower usually is okay, support is terrible

Absolutely awful support and app

Three point turn is gone

Now this app only allows for a tank turn that tears up the grass everywhere the mower reverses directions. Mammotions programmers are not users of their own equipment. It took all summer to correct bad updates from April. Now this. Where are the new pages? Power management, task management, etc. This app was pushed out to get rid of our needed multi point turns.
