Close to great, but just not
I desperately, desperately want to love my Mammotion lawnmower, a Luba 2, as well as the software, but more often than not I can’t get it to connect with enough satellites, can’t get it to charge correctly, can’t get it to map the sections of lawn or can’t get it to just mow the lawn without some major mishap. It’s close to great, but when I end up mowing the lawn more than the expensive robot I bought to do the task for me. I’ve had it now for almost two years and I’ve hoped that the firmware updates would improve things, that the software would improve, etc, but I’m still mowing more than my robot and it kills me.

De bonnes perspectives d’amélioration, je pense
C’est un debut, mais des points à améliorer. Par exemple, sur sol humide, avec un terrain légèrement en pente, le robot fait du labourage. Il présente de grandes difficultés parce que sur les sols en pente il a tendance à glisser et à n’avoir aucun maintien latéral ce qui le conduit à se décaler par rapport à sa trajectoire prévue. Il essaie à alors de se remettre en place et ainsi de suite. Le robot est incapable de gérer des sols meubles, il s’enfonce, mais se coince. J’avais cru comprendre que son intelligence lui permettait de ne pas essayer de tondre les zones qui n’ont pas besoin d’être tondu, telles que des graviers par lesquels il doit toutefois passer. Un peu décevant pour le moment.
Pour le moment, je regrette sérieusement mon achat par rapport à mon ancien Husqvarna

Awesome technology!!
Very quiet and sleek. It works day and night if you opt for that. Charging takes a very little time. You can set the schedule and walk away and forget about it even while you’re not home. If it rains or the weather becomes really inclement it will go back to the charging station and then come back out and remember exactly what needs to be done. We have an acre and a quarter and it mows it easily.

Just needs a few tweaks
Amazing product. But here are the needs. 1 clear space for feedback on app. 2. Several functional/ refinements: (a) when Luba gets turned back or rain delayed, it’s not easy to see where the stoppage occurred nor how to easily resume that at will. (B) Robot should never be allowed to exhaust battery when stuck because it is too big for many to carry and should keep 5% battery to drive back to charger once it is helped out. (C) since obstructions and interruptions will occur, each task should have with its “run now” option the ability to start at a percentage of a task (currently tucked uselessly and uselessly under “editing a task”). I shouldn’t have to put this in a review … it should have a super easy spot in the app. Thx

Needs some further work
Mainly ok but a couple of areas for improvement.
1. Task time should better predict both the mowing time and charging time required to complete the job.
2. When the mower is charging you should be able to see progress of the task and time remaining.

Unser Mähroboter macht wirklich einen guten Job
Meckern kann man ja eigentlich irgendwie immer aber ehrlich bei unserem kleinen Mähroboter fällt mir das schon schwer. Es braucht natürlich etwas Eingewöhnung und das Eine oder Andere muss man erstmal verstehen doch alles in allem wurden unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Insbesondere bei verwinkelten und unebenen Gartenbereichen ist unser Luba Mini 2 AWD eine Empfehlung wert. Auch haben wir den Aufstellort der Ladestation aus Wetterschutz etwas abseits der Rasenfläche gewählt. Nach nochmaligem Anlernen des Fahrweges meistert der „Kleine“ selbst diese Aufgabe tapfer. Tolles Gerät … lediglich der Akku könnte etwas mehr Kapazität haben.

Top mais pourrait encore mieux faire
LUBA 2 awd LiDAR 1500 Acheté en juillet 2025 j’ai eu beaucoup de mal à le configurer au départ, la correction des cartes ne fonctionnait pas( toujours pas au top après mise à jour) , il s’arrêtait un peu n’importe où, sans obstacle mais pouvait être relancé à distance sauf si il se retrouvait en dehors des zones de tonte, un correctif serait le bienvenu pour pouvoir le commander en wifi actuellement il faut quelqu’un sur place pour le repositionner dans une zone d’activité pas pratique lorsque vous vous absentez quelques jours

Donc encore quelques améliorations logicielles et ce robot pourrait être parfait , à refaire je reprendrai le même

Good but a bit confusing
Good app, but sometimes it gets a bit confusing when you want to change a setting and save those changes.
Also, the app doesn’t allow multiple devices to be connected at the same time.
For home integration, it’s a bit rubbish as you have to choose which device you want to use to check on your robot. It would be nice to allow users to have at least 2 or 3 devices that can connect to the app at the same time.

This is the brand to back!
Mammotion really stepped up and became one of my favorite brands for robot mowers. Honestly what gets me the most isn’t even the machine itself, it’s how they never stop tweaking and improving everything. The app just keeps getting better with fresh features and fixes that actually make a difference out in the yard. You can tell they’re paying attention to what people say and actually testing this stuff in real conditions instead of shipping it and ghosting. It’s nice to see a company that doesn’t forget about you once the sale is done. Feels like I bought something premium from folks who actually care about the long game. If they keep this up, they’re gonna be the ones everyone else tries to copy. Seriously, good stuff guys!

Utiliser avec un Yuka mini 2, je ne trouve pas de reproche à dire. Beaucoup d’options de disponible et c’est souvent le cas des marques asiatiques (perso j’aime bien pouvoir tout modifier). Bref ras pour le moment :-)

This worked great for a few weeks before the update. Now it’s more work to fix it than it is to just push mow the yard.
Need’s some SW Updates
Looking at the latest map updates ours does not show. Assume model specific. During mow you can just about see the cutting routes whereas previous it was very clear
Luba Mini AWD 1500. Constantly experiencing stops on route to lawn. I thought the ‘no stop’ function would fix this and yes to a point it has. I’ve now hit limit on no stop zones which is really annoying when the robot stops in one of the sections missed that is normally not a problem. To me the best solution would be to either draw the no stop route or even simpler to be able to make the path between lawns automatically a no stop area. Seems crazy the way it works. Actually like the new option to now cut around no go zones. Missed the change and like other reviewer really couldn’t understand why the area was not being cut. One option to cut selected problem solved. Every update seems to sort some problems and cause others..

Im Großen und Ganzen finde ich die App gelungener wie die von Dreame. Diese konnte ich bis vor kurzem noch testen. Allerdings fehlen mir in dieser App einige nützliche Funktionen wie z.B. das aufteilen des Gartens in Zonen ohne einzelne Flächen aneinanderzustückeln. Ich würde mir außerdem map Backups wünschen falls man mal aus Versehen einen Fehler macht. Pfade sollten auch innerhalb des selben Bereichs definierbar sein. Das Definieren von hindernisfreien Zonen sollte auch per abfahren mit dem Roboter definierbar sein da hier meiner Meinung nach die Genauigkeit wichtig ist damit der Roboter sich nicht zerstört. Auch die Verbindung mit dem Roboter ist teils haklig so sollte er nicht immer auf eine Bluetooth Verbindung bestehen und evtl die Verbindung über 4G oder WLAN bevorzugen.

Poor app
A great mower extremely easy to program areas for mowing. The app however is unnecessarily complicated and it’s very difficult to navigate around. The fine tuning of your map area is also a bit clunky. It would be great if one could fine tune the map,off-line somehow and not use the app.
June 2026 Do Not Update
Horrible update. COMPLETELY BREAKS - NETWORK CONNECTIVITY IS TERRIBLE AFTER UPDATE. ALWAYS OFFLINE.
I have 30 zones, and to manually mow one now, it automatically selects all zones so I have to deselect 29 zones just to mow one. Awful update. Save yourself and skip this one. I am regretting it bigtime.
Also now half of the time it fails when just trying to undock from the charger. I have to physically turn the robot off and move it with my hands to undock from the charger. This robot went from DREAM to DREAD with this terrible update.

Mower is great…the app???
Frequent if not constant problems using the app. I keep trying to map certain parts of my lawn and it keeps giving me the same error over and over. The mower works great. The app has issues.
Your latest update broke smooth network connecting
Please revert back or improve whatever was changed that is now made connecting to the robot really tough. It was working perfectly before it now takes multiple times closing the app launching and sometimes that doesn’t even work to get it connected without getting within Bluetooth range.

PLEASE bring back the percentage of task completed stats. This was one of the most useful features, and is now gone. Nobody cares about square footage already cut - just show “48% already complete” during a task (which it was doing already in the first app version).
Also, don’t display “708 minutes remaining” - just convert to normal human units like “11.8 hours” or “11 hours XX mins”.
Choosing area 1 of 2 is really confusing you have to tap a bunch of times to figure it out and actually make the robot do only area 1 but not area 2. It’s better, but lacking a ton of “common sense” display functions.
Please consider refining the app with this feedback. Cheers.

Latest updates broke a lot
Worse than the old version. Have trouble with remote video, map alignment, mowing updates… never buying Mammotion again. Unfinished broken garbage with zero support besides “send logs”
Sucks
This thing sucks I can’t mow anymore so I got this worthless thing to mow my grass. It won’t go over clover. Even though the clover is not much taller than the grass Dandelions stop this thing dead in its tracks. It is totally worthless
