I have used this app many times over the last year as our small town lost their doctors and I’m without a medical provider. I was fairly happy with the app. Until the last couple consults. They were HORRENDOUS! The “doctor” must have been doing 1000 other things. I finally ended the call after waiting for a reply for over 10 minutes. Then the next nurse practitioner I got, thought she knew more than all the other thyroid doctors I’ve had over the last 30 years. I have no thyroid and she was insisting I change meds. No! I will die without sufficient thyroid hormones. She insisted she was correct over my cancer doctor (which released me because I was finally NED!)! WORST experience and I no longer trust the professionals in this app.

The New App Con
For a country that has “free” healthcare, at $85/month this is unbelievable, even in a fictional world. So to understand this, I pay a touch over $1000 a year to get a blood test to get a perception that’s in the tens of dollars. I do the admin work, you claim you’ve provided a service and actually done very little for that $1000. I’m pretty sure I still pay taxes that cover medical cost in that “free” part too. How do I claim back the tax dollars I’ve wasted on you creating this app. FOCUS ON PROVIDING MEDICAL SERVICES not mobile app services. Honestly. What are you doing?

Avoid
Instead of a call with a doctor, a chat with you never know what. I haven’t seen a pfoof I talked to a human. Also useless advices and inability to issue a note
Super convenient
I have virtual care as a benefit to my insurance policy and it's been very handy - no need for ER visits and waiting for things that are not extreme but require a prescription or advise. The app works great!
Amazing service
This app is fantastic. Has saved me so much time and aggravation in regards to my medical care the online doctors are efficient and the speed in which you can conduct your treatment is fantastic. Highly recommend this app.

I’ve tried using Maple twice for my children, both times they never saw a practitioner. We ended up going to emergency department which defeats the purpose of Maple.

Every experience I've ever had getting healthcare from Maple has been exemplary. It's such a relief to know that a service like this exists, especially living in a province with a degrading healthcare system.

Every practitioner I have interacted with has been outstanding. Honestly, I hate that I will soon have a family physician because this is so convenient! I get all the attention I need and the providers are attentive, professional, and adhering to best practice. Go, Maple!
Great service
Although we pay such high taxes in Canada for things such as health care, many still are without the proper care of a GP…including myself. Thank goodness for options such as Maple!!

The concept behind the service is great, the practitioners not so much.
The only thing the practicers seem to be willing to do to help people write a prescription for an antibiotic or an erectile disfunction drug
Anything other than that, they simply tell you to go seek Care somewhere else
What’s the point of offering a general practitioner appointment if the general practitioner doesn’t actually want to ask you about your symptoms and simply dismisses you based on the information you submit as part of your initial appointment

Waste of money
Please don’t waste your money on this subscription. I tried multiple times to get somebody to help me with a cough I had for more than 3 weeks. Was just told to go sit in the emergency department. So what’s the point? Paid $100 for nothing.
Efficient
I couldn’t be happier with Maple… I’ve had to use them twice and both times have been so efficient, they are kind, and personable even through texting. And it takes no time for them to contact you back. Happy to have this service until I can find a doctor
Time’s money
Save your time and money both! Even after waiting 7 hours in urgent care for my 4 year old, I got prescription in 15 mins and meds in 30 mins with this app. It was a true blessing! My daughter got better in 10 mins after meds. Thanks to whoever thought of this app and thanks to all first responders 🙏

Doctor wouldn’t diagnose me with strep throat. I then had to wait at family doctor who confirmed it was strep throat. Terrible service. And also can’t speak to anyone.
Worst service. Total money grab. Don’t get fooled! Spoke to customer service and even with wrong diagnosis proven, they wouldn’t give me my money back. Total money grab. They said “did you read the disclaimer”. Crooks
