No support

Very expensive and no support if anything goes wrong. I ordered prescription medication prescribed by Dr on the site and paid through maple and the medication never came. I contacted customer support multiple times and they provided no resolution and when I asked for a refund they said no.

Great concept, poor execution

Disappointing experience overall. The service has potential but there are too many frustrating limitations:

Limited doctor availability — there is often only one doctor listed and they are never available, leaving you with no real choice.

Prescriptions are locked within the app — you cannot print them or take them to a pharmacy of your choice. You are forced to order medication through their system only, which feels restrictive and overpriced.

And when you do get a consultation, the quality can be lacking — I was initially told to go home and seek treatment in my home country despite having a paid subscription. Immigration status should never be a reason to dismiss a paying customer.

The concept is great but the execution needs serious improvement.

U don’t need to chat with a doctor they’ll just send u random medication.

I spoke with the live support requesting a refund, before I was even connected to a doctor. Randomly I got booted from the app for 4 hrs straight. When I signed back it I had an incorrect prescription waiting for me that I can’t use from a doctor I never had a chance to chat with. Everytime I went back to chat about a refund I got booted and I had to start the chat over online and in the app how suspicious 🤔

Awful

Didn’t listen. Doctor cut my conversation off.

Terrible AI intake.

I hate this app; the ai intake chat is garbage and saves their time by wasting yours (and does it even save them time? Bc they wouldn’t need to ask either- they could also just look at the users medical history in their profile. time saved for everyone). It appears to be a standalone agent that doesn’t take any of the medical history you’ve already provided in your profile or previous chats into account. You have to go through the same, largely irrelevant, questions every time you use the service. Classic case of businesses being determined to use AI whether 1. The use case is valid and 2. Whether the implementation is at all successful

Note on maples response: unfortunate that your response has nothing to do w what I said but ok.

FAQ

What is Maple?

Maple is a virtual healthcare service that connects Canadians with licensed doctors and nurse practitioners 24/7. You can receive medical diagnoses, prescriptions, and specialist consultations from the comfort of your home via your phone or computer.

How does Maple work?

To use Maple, you sign in and describe your health concern. You can then connect with a doctor or nurse practitioner within minutes for virtual care. If medication is needed, prescriptions can be sent to a local pharmacy or delivered to your door.

Is Maple free to use?

The app itself is free to download and register for. However, you will incur costs for consultations with healthcare providers and any associated prescription services, which are handled through in-app purchases.

Who can use Maple?

Maple is available to Canadians seeking medical care. It can be used for yourself and eligible dependents under one account. Providers can support patients who are in Canada during their consultation or Canadian residents who are temporarily outside Canada.

Can Maple be used for emergencies?

No, Maple is not intended for emergency healthcare. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency room.
