Terrible customer service
I’ve been waiting for over a few months since there was a misunderstanding that I was charged more for a cash item in-game than what was advertised and asked for a refund. I was banned for this and not fully refunded the correct amount and have been waiting on a response since, several emails and months of waiting.
This is terrible customer service, I’ve spent many hours and hundreds of dollars over the years that it’s terrible to think that I’m banned for your mistake. Someone get back to this.

POCKET TOASTER
I love this game but it makes my phone a pocket toaster. Love the AFK feature but my phone gets so hot.

It’s a game that requires a hearty income to stay really indulged in content. You can spend 200$ on a item in-game for it to only have a 20% chance of working (this is a in-game low chance gambling feature not a bug) for instance I spent money on 5 of 1 necklace and failed all 5 times. The free 2 play route is beyond a normal pc Maplestory grind I’m assuming cause it offers afk lvling. I started a free 2 play kit(no purchased items to advance it) and it’s still at mythic 3 years later….. also I forgot the community is super small/dead/dying. Banned for no reason
This was very nostalgic for me as I played PC version when I was younger. I loved it, brought back a lot of good memories of playing with my big brother, who I haven’t seen in a while. So I started playing, then my husband joined, then my kids joined also. But out of nowhere all of our devices get banned. I tried reaching out to support but they must be using A.I. because I got no help. I somehow ended up messaging support for PC and they got back to me swiftly and it was an actual human being. Although they couldn’t help our situation due to PC and mobile being separate departments, I did appreciate their reply. Unlike the mobile support. My kids were sad, they were starting to get into it and I was pretty upset myself. But it is just a game.. we’ve moved on to a different one. I’m glad we didn’t spend any money in game yet. Just a FYI, don’t tell your household of this game or your account will get banned for no reason and you will get no support from them.

Holy, this game takes up over 11GB of space. For Maplestory? I have other fantastic games that do not require such a massive chunk of storage. Very disappointing, I was excited to finally be able to play on the go. This game must be so full of bloat to be that ridiculously massive. Genuinely absurd. It also kept putting on auto-play which is a horrible feature that shouldn't exist in any mmorpg. It shouldn't play for you if you're not going to bother playing it yourself. Why would I want to watch the game play itself? And it's so full of cash grabs I literally just started, I'm not buying cosmetics. This is not at all the Maplestory I remember when I was younger. Completely weird and off-putting in every way.

The developers and customer service don’t care. Don’t waste your time. From a former mapler who’s invested years into this game. Customer support is AI. They will ignore all inquiries. Dead game full of bots and the game developers will ban any real Mapler. Nexon has become such a disappointment.
Update: their customer service team sucks and will make you run in circles. Nexon does not care about their players. Good luck to the rest of you maplers who are still giving Nexon a chance. I quit.

Controller support!
Maplestory is a favourite game of mine and while the mobile version is great, it would be great even more playable with controller support. Please Nexon, update this great game to bring even more playability to the mobile version.
My Big Complaint About MapleStory M’s Storage
Even though it was good game but the problem is got to be the huge storage but it probably has 10-15 gigabytes tbh i really wished that this game could’ve gotten but less than 1 gigabytes or 400 gigabytes instead of this but i genuinely despised the 10-16 gigabytes thing for the game let’s be honest it should have been less than 400-500 Gigabytes.

Banned for no reason
You can play the game rightfully for a month, take a break for a week and come back to your account banned for “abnormal gameplay” and permanently lose your account and characters an any progress made. Somehow their system just detects “strange behavior” and ban you, LOL. I used no malicious software or any bots or illegal gameplay. Their system is flawed heavily.

I got data drained at least a few times. Talk about the Black Mage with a pebble like King David from the bible. The pebble destroyed the cliff in Vanishing Journey. Now I'm on MapleStory M. I was level 240s, data drained. I was level 230s, data drained. Now I'm at 213. At least my story in the game, thanks Nexon! Maybe I'll never hit 260.

Unrealistic/impossible to upgrade equipment
To starforce it’s a 1% chance. Jewels is 2%. Accessories 10%. I also asked ai how long it would take to fully exalt your equipment and it said 40-60 years. Also one exalt stone is like $100 for a %25 chance of it working LOL

5% destroy item
You add a % for an item to be destroyed and no way to recover it after someone works hard to buy the item to begin with only to have there time wasted because you added such a dumb mechanic to the game. I will never play again. Embarrassing game design.
