Questies are so cute
Okay so first of all my dad loves d and d so when I showed him this app he loved it! Also I love the cute little Questies I’m also double digits and finally finding this adorable app melted down my heart. I love the CUTE little UNICORN!🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🥰🥰🥰
Are you kidding?
My app updated when I got my new phone. Talk about culture shock! The new format is anything but intuitive. How do I need collections? I’d rather see a list of favorites, places I visit often enough, but not often enough to be able to go right to them without MapQuest. Those useful shortcuts are in one line that I have to scroll through. In the old MapQuest, there was a nice list. I could see quite a few of them at a glance. I have yet to figure out how to get rid of the collections. The old MapQuest showed all your trip options right after you search. Now to get to your options, you choose directions. That used to be for just figuring out the distance between places. No, there’s no intuitiveness here. I don’t even like the look of it. And I’m paying a premium each month. I would like to have my old MapQuest, which I had recommended many times. I do not recommend or like or appreciate the new MapQuest. In fact, it’s a pain. I wish there was at least some option to have some of the old features. Old school and new school do not like the same things. Is that OK? 😡

the mapquest app is trash it give you wrong driving directions
Confused 😵💫
I’ve given MapQuest multiple chances, but the navigation instructions are genuinely confusing and have now made me late more than once.
The app repeatedly counts down to street names that aren’t actual turns, making it look like you’re supposed to exit. It also displays vague instructions like “Exit (right)” without providing an exit number, even when there are multiple right exits. Drivers shouldn’t have to guess which exit to take.
If I’m supposed to stay on the freeway, tell me “Stay on I-45” or “Keep right to continue on I-45.” If I’m supposed to exit, tell me the exit number and destination. Don’t count down to random street names or display ambiguous instructions that can easily be misinterpreted.
This has added 20+ minutes to my commute twice because the app failed to provide clear guidance. Navigation apps are supposed to reduce stress, not create it. Until this is fixed, I can’t recommend using MapQuest.
