I love it
This app is so fun, especially when I have it in my car and I see my little character on the screen moving. Also they have everything named right, like the Gulf of Mexico
MapQuest for the Win!
I didn’t know that MapQuest had an app until the idiot started renaming bodies of water. I used to use this for work and for road trips and anywhere else that I had to go that was unfamiliar. I am loving this app! It’s very easy to use. It’s getting me to where I wanna go. And I love that I can go as a wizard! Coming back full circle to MapQuest, thank you for creating a great product and for having some serious iron clad integrity.

Lake Ontario
For the simple fact that you kept and honoured Lake Ontario & Gulf of Mexico, you’ve got my vote!
Keeps taking me to the wrong place…
Decided to give Mapquest a try after… well… it involves a gulf and a lake. And honestly I have to switch back.
- Took me to the wrong place a few times. I moved to a new place and have to constantly use my GPS. In one month it got the navigation wrong twice. Typed the address in the other app and it worked fine.
- I tried to look up “train” and it kept coming up with a Mattress Firm. “Train station” did fix that but I shouldn’t have to be so precise.
- Hard to identify public transit routes by just looking at the map.
- FIXED: No “public transit” button for the route.

Really want to like but not quite there yet
I really want to like and use this app. But it’s not quite there yet. You cannot save individual locations to collections just commercial ones, parts of the map, especially in rural areas are not accurate, and some recreation destinations like state parks, and recreation lands aren’t on the map at all. They seem to be rapidly upgrading, so I’ll remain hopeful.
