App can't discover any speaker, even brand new ones, on iOS 18 / iPhone 16
I have three genuine Marshall speakers: a new Emberton III, an Emberton II, and a Tufton. The app will not discover a single one of them. It sits on "Searching..." forever and never finds anything.
This is not a speaker problem. All three pair and play perfectly over standard Bluetooth in iOS settings. The new Emberton III is confirmed genuine via its FCC ID. The app simply cannot complete its own discovery on my iPhone 16 Pro Max.
I have tried everything: deleted and reinstalled the app fresh, granted Bluetooth permission, forgotten and re-paired the speakers, put a speaker into pairing mode with the light actively blinking, hard restarted the phone, and done a full Reset Network Settings. None of it works. I also tried connecting via Bluetooth settings first as Marshall's own video suggests. Still nothing.
The result is that the EQ presets and firmware updates, the entire reason to use this app, are completely inaccessible. My Emberton III is stuck on its flat default tuning because the bass-boosting Push preset is locked inside an app that won't connect.
Searching these reviews and Marshall's support pages, I'm clearly not alone. This has been reported repeatedly and appears tied to recent iOS versions. Marshall, please fix the discovery bug and confirm which app version resolves it.

Sketchy device support
When it works, the app and earbuds are great, but the Motif ANC regularly will not pair correctly for the past year, and require multiple resets to connect. Sound is good, but having to use to app to adjust all settings and pairing is not ideal. Will likely stick to AirPods in the future

Great app use it in hot tub use my phone to change all the settings not a five star cos you cant seem to change all the sound all the way to the treble to the bass
Add a dark app icon option
Overall good but my Stanmore speakers don’t connect. Both ANC over the ear and in the ear work fine

One at a time
My wife and I received the Marshall Action II for a Christmas gift from my wife’s brother. The sound quality is phenomenal the one thing HATE about the speaker is that you can have multiple phones linked by Bluetooth at the same time. I don’t know why the people at Marshall thought this was a great idea but it needs to be fixed! It keeps me from gifting a great sounding speaker to other people. Please fix!!!

App is useless. Connected to my iPhone in settings but app says not connected, don’t need it anyway it’s a Bluetooth speaker for f’s sake

Superb speaker, rotten app
Connected my emberton 3 the app and worked fine. However the app didn’t work after I disconnected and tried to connect again but speaker was working fine with Bluetooth. The page in the app just keeps loading, nothing happens. Funnily enough their product page is loading fine despite having issues with the home page.
Tried multiple times to bring back to work by uninstalling the app and downloading it again.

Doesn’t like connecting to the Bluetooth even though I can play music through Spotify.
Major IV Won’t Pair
Ive spent 30 minutes turning on and off every Bluetooth setting, updated the app and iOS
Bluetooth connects too easily
Some random Marshalls device keeps pairing to my device over and over again even when I press cancel, forget device and disconnect. I’ve tried quite literally everything. I’ve factory reset, reconnected it, changed the settings, asked for help, you name it. VERY insanely annoying, nothing works and I’ve had to turn off Bluetooth, so unfortunately I can’t use it anymore.

The earbuds work exactly to my preferences and I love using these. They boost the sound quality

Requiring an app to use a speaker is utterly ridiculous. Requiring an app that is buggy to use a speaker is an embarrassment.
Custom Settings
Customs settings don’t stay set. Some frequencies drop to zero at random times.
