MaskID: Protect Private Data

MaskID helps you protect private data before sharing personal, identity and everyday documents with people, companies, agencies or service providers. PROTECT BEFORE YOU SHARE Hide only what others do not need to see: ID numbers, addresses, signatures, phone numbers, email addresses, bank details and other personal information. Keep the useful parts visible and add a watermark for the intended purpose. FOR EVERYDAY PROCEDURES • Share a passport or ID for travel, rental applications, employment, banking, insurance, education and other processes. • Prepare payslips, contracts, invoices, forms and personal photos before sending them to a person or organization. • Add labels such as "For rental application only" to make the purpose of a copy clear. ON-DEVICE DETECTION • Capture or import from Camera, Photos and Files. • Optional direct connections to Google Drive and Dropbox are available when you choose them. • On-device OCR suggests areas that may contain private data and can work without an internet connection. • Review every suggestion and adjust each mask yourself. You decide what remains visible. PROTECTED EXPORT • Flatten hidden areas into a rasterized PDF or image. • Check the exported copy for hidden text and recoverable layers. • Remove common GPS, camera and timestamp metadata during export. • Share the protected copy, not the original. LOCAL VAULT • Keep sensitive documents in a local Vault protected by Face ID or PIN with AES-GCM encryption. • Core protection works without an account. • Optional Pro iCloud sync stores complete restorable packages for non-Vault documents in your private CloudKit database. • Vault documents remain local. Manage iCloud sync and disconnect direct cloud providers in Settings. MaskID is a privacy tool, not a guarantee that every sensitive area was selected.
