So many scam accounts
There are so many scam accounts here, it is absolutely ridiculous! There has to be a better way to filter these out when you’re paying so much for a service.

Very glitchy
I get multiple emails stating I received a ‘Like’ but when logging into the account there is nothing. Contacted customer care (they don’t really care) and getting bot answers. I have a paying member for years and had great success here in the past but since early July 2026 only aggregation. Will not be renewing this subscription.

Too early to tell at this point
I just got on Match the day before yesterday and it’s taken me this long to get my logon information right. And finish filling out my profile. So far so good.
Horrible experience
It’s the first dating app I ever tried. Set up an account. Following their advice. Had the account all of 5 minutes. Zero interaction with anyone. No explanation, app kicked me out and ban my account. No warning. No idea why. I’ve reached out to find out why, all I get is robotic responses. No explanation, no way to address whatever the problem is. Followed all their rules and suggestions . I just want the account deleted at this point and can’t even do that. Horrible customer support. Horrible experience.

Confusion
After recent updates, Match now has illogical mechanics. Example would be a email that shows someone likes you, but if you select the picture, you’re shown a different person

It is very difficult to find a match on this site. It feels like a waste of time and money . I have met people on this site who have been here for years just like me and reaching nowhere . The site doesn’t allow a direct conversation without sending a like. This is another problem.
Inconvenient
Can’t reverse when finger slipped swiping left or right. Very hard to use.
Data Mine Illusion
Should you want to appear as a sincere application, that facilitates relationships, I would suggest offering Premium accounts, for free, for attractive individuals, and paid accounts, for non-attractive individuals. This may help your user base, and get you more data from users, as it would most likely attract more customers to your…I want to call it a service, but it does not really serve any of the us.

Membership is very tricky. I signed up and paid for Bronze membership and it is the same as free membership perks except you paid for it.

Mostly fake profiles. Match cashes in on the false sense that members will meet someone compatible. It’s like gambling and the house keeps the money.

match never can help the clients with their problems… always is so complicated to find a solution about how many hackers they have into the website doing fake profiles or fix something in our profiles because they use a filters or questions that nobody can remember or answer

Lack of quality legitimate users
Match sucks. They would rather than quantity over quality. They have so many incomplete, inactive, and fake accounts. You spend more time swiping left and reporting incomplete dating profiles just to find real active complete profiles. Additionally, more matches are always out of state even if you put within a mileage that is still instate. They need to scrub profiles / accounts instead of banning users reported by other overly sensitive accounts. I can literally receive ten inactive, incomplete account in a row. This isn’t what dating used to be like when using match. Match sucks

I’m not sure any of the people are real humans. It’s expensive for what it is. Not a fan.

If you’re just on their website to have fun instead of dating, they will ban your account. Continue to send you emails of likes but keep you banned even if you didn’t violate any of their policies.
Watch out for catfishers
The first man I chatted with took me on a week long scam. Said his name was Gary. False pictures and info. I thought there was some protection from this.
