❌ UNUSABLE: Great concept ruined by terrible bugs, a rigged wheel, and non-stop spamOverall Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 out of 5 stars)Let me start by saying that on paper, Mathspace is actually a decent idea. The concept behind it is good, and it clearly has the potential to be a helpful learning tool. But in reality? The actual execution of this app is an absolute nightmare to deal with every single day. It is so incredibly glitchy that doing basic homework turns into a massive chore, and I honestly would much rather just use a traditional paper textbook at this point.First of all, the app is completely unstable. Sometimes it just randomly freezes on the loading screen forever, and I have to sit there force-closing and restarting the app three or four times just to look at my assigned tasks. When you finally get into a lesson, the input system is infuriating. The screen-drawing tool constantly misreads what I write. They desperately need to include an option to let us just use a standard keyboard to type in our answers instead of forcing us to sketch things out. Because the handwriting recognition is so broken, a single misread number ruins your entire step-by-step progress. To make matters worse, the "spin a wheel" reward feature is completely rigged. It is so painfully obvious that the wheel is pre-determined to give you the worst outcomes, which completely defeats the purpose of having a fun reward system in the first place. It just feels insulting as a user. Finally, the amount of completely unnecessary emails this platform spam-sends to my inbox is so, so, so annoying. My notifications are flooded daily with useless updates that could easily just be a tiny notification inside the app dashboard itself.Save yourself the headache. Until the developers fix the freezing issues, give us a keyboard input option, stop spamming our emails, and fix the rigged wheel, stick to the printed textbook.
