❌ UNUSABLE: Great concept ruined by terrible bugs, a rigged wheel, and non-stop spamOverall Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 out of 5 stars)Let me start by saying that on paper, Mathspace is actually a decent idea. The concept behind it is good, and it clearly has the potential to be a helpful learning tool. But in reality? The actual execution of this app is an absolute nightmare to deal with every single day. It is so incredibly glitchy that doing basic homework turns into a massive chore, and I honestly would much rather just use a traditional paper textbook at this point.First of all, the app is completely unstable. Sometimes it just randomly freezes on the loading screen forever, and I have to sit there force-closing and restarting the app three or four times just to look at my assigned tasks. When you finally get into a lesson, the input system is infuriating. The screen-drawing tool constantly misreads what I write. They desperately need to include an option to let us just use a standard keyboard to type in our answers instead of forcing us to sketch things out. Because the handwriting recognition is so broken, a single misread number ruins your entire step-by-step progress. To make matters worse, the "spin a wheel" reward feature is completely rigged. It is so painfully obvious that the wheel is pre-determined to give you the worst outcomes, which completely defeats the purpose of having a fun reward system in the first place. It just feels insulting as a user. Finally, the amount of completely unnecessary emails this platform spam-sends to my inbox is so, so, so annoying. My notifications are flooded daily with useless updates that could easily just be a tiny notification inside the app dashboard itself.Save yourself the headache. Until the developers fix the freezing issues, give us a keyboard input option, stop spamming our emails, and fix the rigged wheel, stick to the printed textbook.

The worst

I am in grade five and I have used this app for 2 years, the way you have to draw to put in the answer is so annoying. I got detention for getting all the answers wrong by the pad not detecting what I wrote down.

Mathspace is okay

Mathspace is a good app to learn maths on but there are minor issues with the app that’s not a big deal but i want to address them anyway so basically the background shifts slightly when I close and open the leaderboard. I noticed this bug when I decided to equip the Confetti Dots background and closed the leaderboard and opened it again. It’s not really noticeable when you equip other backgrounds that don’t have a lot of detail, though (i’m not sure if this bug applies with other devices but it happened on my iPad). Another issue is with the handwriting tool. It’s useful on how it detects your handwriting but it’d be really nice if there was just like a blank space at the bottom of your screen that you could pull up to work out problems on, so that way you can do your working out on there and then fill in your answer in the answer space. overall this app is really good to educate you on maths, totally recommend it. 👍🏻

Do not use

This app is physically incapable of getting any math question correct it uses weird phrasing and won’t accept the best phrasing of a math answer. Its handwriting feature is useless and has given me identical questions with a single coefficient changes multiple times in a row on multiple occasions.

Not the best app for educational learning.

At first I got so exited when I was about to finish the Sahara desert expedition but when I logged on 3 days later to claim my stuff it was gone.

I LOVE HOMEWORK

HOMEWORK IS AWESOME AND IM AWESOME AT MATH

Mathspace its really good

I think it’s good beacuse it is educational and your teachers can see and assign you new activity’s . Not only is it work you can customise your avatars. You can choose different maths topics , like data ,chance, addition ,time etc . And helps kids learn .

Best education

I love it it’s easy and fun I would recommend people who say maths hard

Math space ate my 6 month old

Okay so im really mad right now because your app is horrible, i mean the use is good and i like it buuuuttttt when i put my child on it your app encouraged him to become a cannibal and him not knowing any better became one! He has now eaten almost all of our family and friends and his thirst for human flesh’s became too much soooo he ate him self. THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT. You. Need to rewrite the worded problems they killed my kid, yours truly Zacaria the rat ❤️
