I have been a member of MAX since 1979. I joined when I was a young pup in the USAF! With little experience in money management and needing someone to help me become a better…MAX wa there for me. I still remember going to the Gunter AFS Branch and sitting down with Ms. Lucy. She educated me, provided some advice, and was there for me when I needed her! MAX is still my go-to as I travel the country in my Motorhome. MAX is the BEST! Thanks for the years of service and support!

Not as nice as the previous app
The interface appearance of this app is nicer in a way than the previous app however there have been changes that are undesirable. One of those includes having access to accounts I started up for minors that I should not have on my list. Its a privacy breach to have access to them here just for being on it.
The original app was simpler to navigate as I’ve had to make some adjustments to the new app to prevent transactions from accidentally coming from the wrong places due to the line up. In the older app this did not happen.
Have also had some errors occur depending on system issues that had to be resolved.
These are all matters that never were a problem before.
I miss the simplicity of the older version.

I have been with max for several years. I have 4 accounts with them. Each branch is always friendly- prattville east main is my most frequent branch so of course they are my favorite. I have zero complaints with Max and recommend all my friends open an account!

Forced to Update Now App Doesn’t Work At All
I hate when companies force you to update an app and it just breaks it. I was forced to update this app and now I can’t even get past a loading screen to view my account. So frustrating. I’m uninstalling it.

When an upgrade is a downgrade
This new app is trash. Works worse than the old one. Thanks for the cost cutting measures that hurt the end user. Do better. User interface is garbage and takes 3 min to see your accounts.

My phone will not update
Everyone does not have the latest devices. This update requires newer phones. The app is useless for me now.
Max new update
For years I have always recommended Max. Not now. I can not download the new update on my phone or on my tablet Guess cause I don’t have a newer model i phone. Not everyone can afford to update their phone. It seems it would be cheaper to just withdraw all my funds and find another bank. This is ridiculous. I have been a customer for years and years. I am truly disappointed with them.

it won’t ever load how much money I really have in my bank account so I have to ask my dad how much money I have. These are some issues. I just really wanna get fixed. I don’t wanna see a triangle with a “!”Whenever I wanna load or transfer money.

Super easy to access
Sluggish and difficult
My app won’t update for literal weeks at a time. There’s no issue with my account; the app just displays balances that are weeks out of date even when I switch networks and even if I close/ reopen it and restart my phone. The interface itself is incredibly poor compared to the old app. I kept the previous app on my phone for as long as it was supported.

App Issues
I’ve been with Max for years ,but I’ve recently been experiencing trouble within the app for card lock , not being able to lock or unlock my card certain times of the night when I need to use the card or lock it leaving me feeling my account isn’t secured and in a situation not safe if card is needed to be used late at night and can’t access funds .Please fix this issue as I have noticed I’m not the only one experiencing it.

What happened to pending transactions?
Pending transactions used to show. Balances used to be more accurate. Now it’s just a guessing game and I’m seriously considering closing my account
App is starting to suck
The app has been consistently not providing up to date balance information. For example, it is showing my balance from 2 days ago and there’s a spinning icon on the screen. I went to the webpage, and I still can’t log on to see my balance.
Crashes and doesn’t work 90% of the time
Transaction history will be like a month behind and just keep repeating that it can’t update and try again over and over again. I have no idea how much is in my account almost ever
