ChairForceOne - We are very sorry you experienced a login issue. It is possible your account got locked. As a financial product, our security protocols automatically lock an account after a number of failed login attempts. Once locked, we ask the user to email our customer support to unlock the account. Stole my money basically!!!
I opened this account for my son to give him a small allowance and be able to let him have a place to keep money when he gets it from family for special occasions. I have no idea how it takes soooo long for them to put the money into the Mazoola account after they draft it from your checking but it takes a full week!! So basically my money is held hostage by whoever runs this app. Also didn’t realize you only get a virtual card to do online transactions not a physical debit card, so my son couldn’t make any purchases in a physical store. I decided to go with another app that paid a small fee monthly because money could be loaded immediately to the account so I’m emergencies I would have a way to get him money instantly. I close this account on June 18,2021 and as of today July 9 I still haven’t received the initial deposit back! Emailed customer service several times with only an automated response saying I would get a personal reply in 24 hours. DONT USE THIS APP customer service is non-existent and since the account is closed I guess they will not respond to me anymore. I will dispute the charge with my bank to get the money back I guess and show them the cancel email saying I would get my $50 back but it hasn’t went into my account yet and no replies to my request for assistance from customer service. I just want my $50 back!!!

AmandaD0813, We are very sorry Mazoola did not meet your expectations and you did not receive a higher level of customer support. It does take 3-5 business days for funds to reach the Mazoola account. It is also possible that one will see it removed from the funding bank before it is available in the Mazoola account. This funding methodology is done to protect users from account takeovers and fraudulent transfers. The funds are transferred to our banking partner Evolve Bank & Trust, an FDIC insure bank. All funds are managed by Evolve Bank & Trust. Mazoola is a virtual only debit card and can be used by Apple Pay and Google Pay for in-store/physical purchases. Can you please check your bank again? Funds are returned to user's funding bank upon request. It can sometimes take longer than the 7-10 days as indicated on the the email due to holidays. We do our best to try and respond to emails within 24 hours. It is possible some emails require longer response time. Please let us know if you do not receive your $50 back by within the next day or two. Mazoola Customer Support
Great idea, poor execution
1. Could not save a picture of my child’s saving goal
2. Scheduled transfer did not activate on scheduled date
3. Could not save allowance settings (would revert after saving)
4. Could not save recurring scheduled transfer (would revert to incorrect settings)
After I struggled with the app for a while, I gave up on it. But here’s the worst thing: you can transfer money in from your bank via ACH, but you can’t transfer out!! I eventually got the funds out by spending on the virtual debit card, which was less than ideal.
I’ll give Jassby a go, which will hopefully be better (and I’ll transfer in a smaller amount to begin with!).
