Gapless playback setting in device INFORMATION not settings
(Update) My original review is below. I wanted to add a frustration I have with the app. Gapless playback selection is not in the settings/gear icon. You change gapless payback by tapping the “device information” icon on the top right corner of the now playing page. This is frustrating because for the mconnect Player app, gapless playback selection is in the gear settings, which is more logical. (Original review) The app doesn’t require an expensive subscription and does the job of controlling streams from my NAS to my PS Audio DirectStream Jr. I don’t know why the developers constantly “update” the app when it usually works fine. I’m afraid to update sometimes because it actually creates a bug. The developers should be more specific with their update notes instead.

Connect to nagra streamer
My nagra streamer have not connected to my iphone today through this APP, what the problem?
Works fine with PS Audio DirectStream Jr
The app doesn’t require an expensive subscription and does the job of controlling streams from my NAS to my PS Audio DirectStream Jr. I don’t know why the developers constantly “update” the app when it usually works fine. I’m afraid to update sometimes because it actually creates a bug. The developers should be more specific with their update notes instead.

Cover art resolution low and pixelated
Since the update, cover art resolution has changed. Prior to the update, the resolution of art when playing track on app was crystal clear. Now, the art is blurry. I stream the same files from the same server using the mConnect app (paid) also developed by Convers. The cover art on the mConnect app didn’t change and is clear. Please fix this low resolution cover art bug.

Doesn’t work for me
App finds my Minimserver library but can’t find either my Network audio player /Streamer or my Server (USB output to DAC) to play to. It can only play music on my iPhone. Useless.
Possible cause of inability to connect to upnp renderers
When the iPhone is connected via Bluetooth to AirPods, for example, and you want to connect to a renderer, you will get the error message pop up “Please select iPhone/iPad at the airplay device list to connect to a renderer device.” Prior to the unnecessary updates, I could tap on the airplay icon on the top left cover of the iPhone and follow the instructions on the pop up and select iPhone/iPad. Thereafter, I could select he PS Audio Directstream dac as the renderer. However, after the updates, the AirPlay icon is gone and you repeatedly get the error message when trying to select any upnp rendering device. To solve the problem, disconnect your Bluetooth device and you can then select the renderer from the upnp list. Please clarify the message pop instructions or revert to previous versions of the app, which worked fine after fixing the queue playlist bug. This app worked very well. It has a simple job as basically a “remote control” to connect NAS to renderer. It doesn’t need to be fancy.

No longer connecting to renderer PS Audio
App no longer connecting to upnp renderer and thus can’t play music to ps audio direct stream jr dac. No upnp device listed. Reinstalling app won’t fix problem. This problem also happened with Mconnect app to Chord 2Go (fixed after today’s update). I think this happened after I selected playback to play to iPhone instead of renderer. After that action, the iPhone no longer appears as an option on Play To screen. Without that option, I can’t play to rendered anymore. Please fix this, otherwise, streaming through is impossible and useless. I don’t know why developer needs previous updates because the has been fine since they fixed the “select to queue playlist” problem.

In general it is not bad the quality of the music is ok
I have two comments 1. Too bad from the queue I can not enter the album or the artist and add the song and artist to my favorites. 2. Songs recorded with 192kHz sampling and in the player shows 48 kHz
Works well with PS Audio Directstream Jr
Glad that Convers continues to make updates to the app. Convers fixed the way tracks are added to the playing queue. It’s a good alternative to Roon and does not require a subscription. The app successfully accomplishes the task of playing music from the NAS to a renderer.

Works well with PSAudio DAC
Thank you for fixing the bug to allow cover art to appear when browsing via folders. However, the app still requires selecting “Play All” (thus adding to queue) to automatically play all tracks in a folder without break. Without pressing Play All, if you select any single track, it will be the only track mControl plays in that folder. Therefore, if I wanted to start playing the album starting from the 5th track of a 10 track album, I need to (1) Play All, which would start the album from Track 1 immediately, (2) go to the Queue page, and (3) select Track 5. In previous versions, after navigating to the folder, I could select Track 5 and mControl would start playing from Track 5 to Track 10 without stopping. Adding to queue is an extra unnecessary step when I don’t want to make select a playlist. Otherwise, the app works well. See original 5-star review below.

The app displays cover art when track plays and in the folder if the cover art jpg is named “cover” as a file inside the folder on the network drive. I appreciate that ConversDigital continues to update the app and is not a “fly by night” developer like those for other apps. An improvement would be the ability to remove devices and local servers from the Library and Play To lists. This option is available to remove “internet music” services I don’t use and should be extended to deselect local servers and devices I don’t use with mControl.

好好看看现在的版本，只能通过全部播放来进行自动播放下一曲，如果单独点某一首只能单曲循环播放。和上个版本的自由度明显不一样的。这个版本单独点某一首歌曲列表只有这一首，上一个版本点一首歌曲列表直接显示整个专辑。

Great App for music streaming
This is a very good app that supports many different streaming providers.
I‘m using the app with my external streamer and it works even better than the Auralic Lighting DS app!
Both connections via Ethernet and WiFi are working flawlessly even with hires music.
It would be a real killer app if you could also implement Amazon Music!!!

No Longer Plays MQA Files
Something broke between PS Audio and Conversdigital recently. Would be nice if this was fixed.

Same network been playing music with NO problems. This thing can’t make it through a song and the interface is not simple and easy as it should be similar to every other mainstream app out there.
